So is it true about FO4 that there is the extreme lack of the ability to kill everyone, unlike NV where you could literally kill everyone.

This was a weird glitch.

This was a full set of X-01 Mk. III armor, but it appeared as a full set of T-45a armor.
As soon as I took one of the pieces from the suit, it all changed into X-01.

Anyway, I got myself a complete suit of X-01 in one go! Very nice, as I've just had the helmet so far, and haven't stumbled across any power armors in a while.
This was at the top of a building, just west of Custom House Tower. I had to fight off an Assaultron and a Sentry Bot at the same time.

Speaking of the Custom House Tower, it's a really large building, however it only has one entrance, which leads to a tiny room full of Super Mutant gore, and two chained doors which you can't open.
Which is awfully peculiar. I kind of suspect that it may be an area reserved for use in future DLC. It's right next to the docks too, and there's a fair bit of speculation that one of the Fallout DLCs will be based around the sea. So perhaps it may tie into that. Otherwise, it's just a peculiarly small and empty named location.

Happened to me a lot.
I used to have an empty power armor frame in sanctuary. Whenever i left it alone for a while, it started appearing as a full set of T45a, despite being empty. It started appearing as an empty frame again whenever i put a fusion core into it.

One time, in the south boston military checkpoint, there was a full set of X-01 power armor locked behind an advanced terminal. I got the second rank of the hacker perk just to get that power armor, and when i did so, it turned out to actually be T51 power armor that appeared as X-01 due to a glitch.

I have a building filled with empty sets of power armor in the red rocket truck stop. One time, they all appeared with seperate and seemingly random configurations of t45a parts.
I got a partial set of X-01, which i stripped to an empty frame and put in the castle. At one point, it appeared as a partial set of X-01 again, despite being an empty frame.

That building (35 Court) was where i got my set of X-01 power armor too.
I think that's where a lot of people got it, since it's seemingly the only building in the game where (assuming you're a certain level) you're completely guaranteed to find a full set X-01, instead of random parts that might be X-01.

i've never had these power armor issues before, empty frame or not

yes. if you play it on pc, you can get this mod and make all NPCs killable, on top of having other useful settings/options

Anyone know where a level ~80 would find T-51 arms?

why do you need T-51

Thanks, because I usually make one character that is a murderous nut that just obliterates everything in sight.

happened to me but it was weird
I stole a t60 suit from the atom cats and put it in my workshop then (using the placable power armor frame mod) placed a bunch of frames for my settlers to go into but i went to sleep and all the frames got t60 atom cat armor on them and i was able to take it out and put it in etc
weird dupe

X-01 pauldrons look stupid, so I'm going to mix some of the parts together. Also I don't have a full set of T-51 and it's pissing me off.

>X-01
>Looking stupid

pic related its u

also, disappointingly but predictably, mixing parts only creates horrid abominations unless you're mixing T45 and T60 and that's because it's the same stuff
