they can take as long as they want with the new updates/DLC. I personally am going to need some time until I'm ready to start another character, and time to redo all of my enabled mods to better accomodate the new survival mode

They wouldn't overhaul survival mode if no one complained about it.


"Hardcore mode" was an incredibly popular mod for Fallout 3. NV devs saw this and listened to the fans and included it into their core game. NV set the example and listened to the fans and Bethesda failed to deliver.

Gamestop totally screwed me.

I bought this shirt on day one for 15 dollars in store. Now I only bought it because the employee said it was a "gamestop exclusive."

I later find the exact same stuff in other stores not gamestop related.

Now I find the shirt sells for like 2 dollars on their website.

Bethesda had about 4 years to plan what they needed.

New Vegas had less than 1 year to make and a couple of months to plan. They still manage to get the job done.

If people were completely happy with the current survival mode they wouldn't have changed a thing. It takes a lot of time, money and balancing to overhaul a game concept.

The most asked about thing before the game came out was about the hardcore mode.
