I honestly have to hand it to all of you, I've never felt so fit in my life. Especially you, Amade, my legs haven't felt so sore since I had to do ballet classes for peahen I was an ice dancer.
oh jesus i forgot about that lol

i think telling someone they cant contribute because of race is tribal, but im a white male so w/e i guess

-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
this is the no white line, any white ppl past this line will have to forget themselves with a swiffer wet jet.......

yeah most people here are more or less centre-left iirc

which is why much more right-leaning people like glass and kearn have a hard time in political discussions lol

Yeah, it's not often you find right-leaning folks on a forum populated by mostly teenagers

yes they are?
if someone's buying a house and it's not me and i recommend that they don't move into a sewer, is my opinion not relevant?
i mean sure they can just ignore it, but let's say 99 people out of 100 people make that same recommendation
are their opinions relevant? what happens with they move into a sewer and then they're miserable?
99 out of 100 white people agree: white is the best race!

Hold on... that doesn't seem right...

he is a scientist
science is about absolute truth and facts rather than opinion
this is not about absolute truth, it's about opinion
this is not comparable to science
(i'm not implying that science as we know it is the truth, but it's about finding such truth)
You completely missed the point of why I linked that

dude the BLF is extremely liberal, but not loving insane about it
if you're underwater, the amazon rainforest looks dry; we only look reactionary to you because you're extremely radical
Nothing says radical like
  • trans people are people too
  • the overwhelming scientific and medical consensus on the treatment for gender dysmorphia is correct
  • businesses shouldn't discriminate against people, even if said people are homoloveual
  • people with autism do not deserve to be ridiculed all the time
  • generally, people's opinions on reclamation aren't productive to share
BLF is really not that liberal. If it was, we wouldn't have ridiculous numbers of unabashed transphobes stuffting on trans people in threads like this, and polls wouldn't show that the majority of the userbase thinks it's ok for a loving pizza parlor to discriminate against homoloveuals

there's not actually a defense there, just "i'm not an ACCURSED TUMBLR BOGEYMAN"
please, if you're going to try to make a point, don't just exaggerate the opposing viewpoint and preface it with "I love how..."
Do you deny that those supposed radical notions are what's causing people to accuse me of being a tumblr bogeyman?

we don't need a degree to have an opinion
Clearly. But my opinion on the best course of action to take to advance scientific knowledge of quantum physics is not something anybody cares to hear... or even one that I care to share. Because I don't have a loving clue.

Odds are that you aren't quite as qualified to talk about matters like this as you think you are. I know I'm not - which is why I haven't said anything about reclamation other than that it's highly unlikely that anybody participating in this thread has a sufficiently informed opinion to make that opinion valid (myself included)

empathy is for ANGSTY INTERNET BOGEYMEN! down with everyone who isn't a straight able-bodied white cis male like me!!

From what method of insane bullstufftery did you manage to get this crap out of what I was saying? I'd tell you I have mutiple transgender friends which I have stood up for multiple times but I'd imagine you have some sort of 'Plan B' which prevents you from thinking like an adequately functioning human being and resort to just believing what you want to believe instead when faced with the first modicum of logical disagreement.

Get out of my face with this laughable garbage.

I'm not asking you to memorize that chart, and I think charts like that are a little silly. Some people like to have a lot of labels - I personally don't really think that it's necessary to use more than a very small handful of broad labels because ultimately one can't label everything.

Read this bullstuff to yourself and tell me it wouldn't be confusing to a layman who doesn't own a tumblr account. What labels? What do they mean? What do they represent? Why do people want them? What the forget are you talking about?

What on earth do you mean by "priority"?

It, yknow, contains the first ounce of importance in a functioning society? And your gender identity means nothing to anyone but yourself?

neither of these have ever come up in a conversation that I've been in

"My personal anecdote reflects the personal experience of 7 billion people"
Alright buddy. Happy for you.

I think you're perceived as radical because you literally refuse to discuss anything that comes from a white person. Over the last few pages you're had countless opportunities to actually discuss things, but you choose to discuss your own reasons for why everyone else isn't worthy of your attention. This is why you're considered radical.

pagelossing my brown townogy cause I think it's great
You are at a global climate science convention. You stumbled upon it online and were told that all the best and brightest climate scientists would be there. So you show up at the convention center and it's mainly empty save for a bunch of chairs and a ballpit. You take your seat alongside everyone else and soon the lights go down. A guy walks up to the podium and announces, "Today, we're going to be talking about representation of climate scientists in media and how it hurts our cause". Everyone in the audience begins grumbling because they were expecting that he would be talking about climate science, not television shows depicting climate scientists. The guy on the podium shows a powerpoint that compares the number of climate scientists killed in movies versus the number of creationists killed in movies, and starts mumbling something about systematic oppression. People in the audience start getting angry, and the guy on the podium starts sputtering out something along the lines of, "y-you guys aren't scientists. s-s-stop silencing my opinion!". Soon, people start asking to see his credentials, and so he holds up his degree in climate studies from Topeka Community College which has quite obviously been forged with crayons. Before long, everyone leaves except for a small group of people, who then spend the next few hours circlejerking.

In my opinion if somoene wants to change their gender it's their choice but it would be nice if people didn't make a big deal out of it or if the person doing it didn't make a big deal out of it, and even though he didn't, people shouldn't say like "oh your a terrible person for doing that" or "what is wrong with you change your gender back now". I really don't care if somoene would do this even if it was a family member. In my opinion it shouldn't be a big deal in all honesty. Sorry I said something really dumb. Not sarcasm.

EDIT: Dammit I was thinking of the celebrity who did that.
Sorry about that.

watch out buddy, if you're not trans, the opinion police is gonna come to get you.

How can I be sensible? I have TRANS FRIENDS!!!

Read this bullstuff to yourself and tell me it wouldn't be confusing to a layman who doesn't own a tumblr account. What labels? What do they mean? What do they represent? Why do people want them? What the forget are you talking about?
I don't support that chart, dude. It was basically posted as a (mostly successful) attempt to derail the thread.

"N-n-no it's not! Racism is only racism when it targets a group that's not in power. Racism towards the majority group is called empowerment! I totally didn't just pull this definition of racism right out of my ass!"
Did I conflate institutional racism and racism? No? Then don't pretend like I did. Thank you kindly.

Amade, stop using the qualifications/"you don't understand because you're a majority without a degree!" card. Your argument, as I understand it, is that we can't be part of the argument. That's not arguing, that's putting your fingers in your ears and going "LALALALALALA I CANT HEAR YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE WHITE LALALALALALA WHERE'S YOUR BEING-ABLE-TO-SPEAK PAPER LALALALALA"
Your (and my) ideal place in discussions about reclamation is basically to listen. I think the silliest part of this whole tangent is that so many of you are so ridiculously up in arms about it. How on earth does reclamation affect you?

Yeah, it's not often you find right-leaning folks on a forum populated by mostly teenagers
You'd be surprised, I think

Idiocy
Okay pause the idiocy, I need to get a drink of water or I'll die of dehydration.
Okay, five more sets. *sigh*

question: if ya'll take all the slurs away what the hell am I supposed to say? checkmate, social activists.

Did I conflate institutional racism and racism? No? Then don't pretend like I did. Thank you kindly.
Sorry, my bad. People from your community tend to have an awful habit of subverting the established definitions of words with made-up bullstuff. I generalized a bit.

Yeah, it's not often you find right-leaning folks on a forum populated by mostly teenagers
i'm certain i'm just misunderstanding what you're trying to say, but if you're implying a widely-accepted political concept centred around liberty and egalitarianism is commonly followed as a result of simple immaturity, i think possibly that's not an extremely sound viewpoint?

or you're saying that younger generations are more likely to be liberal as a result of cultural or other forces which cause that to be the case?

Okay pause the idiocy, I need to get a drink of water or I'll die of dehydration.
can you stop or something?

it's kinda hard to follow an argument when you're trying to continue some lame joke instead of contribute to it

Alright I'll stop. two sets due to my own idiocy. I have never felt such sweat from exercise since last year jfc
