if you really think about it, if you're having trouble in smash 4, pm isnt gonna be any easier.
my L-cancel average went from ~25% to ~33% :0
He never said Smash 4 was hard, just that it was tedious. And I'd argue PM is less tedious than Smash 4, simply because of the physics engine allowing for combos to occur easier. And the faster characters allow for tighter neutral exchanges.
Also, keep up the practice! Make sure you practice L cancelling after hitting people or their shields as well, as the bit of stun will throw off the timing.
PM seems like the best of both worlds for ex Smash 4 fans. You get a healthy roster of viable characters like Smash 4 but with the Melee engine.
currently i am stuff at project m because i dont fully have the movement down and i dont really have anyone to play with, but it's still more challenging and fits more to my preference in fighting games.
(if i had a gamecube controller with an adapter that could change but)
This wonderful thing is only $15 USD, and it's completely lagless and will even work on your PC as well as your Wii U, in case you decide to look into that.
