Perhaps the mobas are toxic but every FGC game certainly is not
I wasn't calling out the experience part so much as I was calling out the "my brother" argument often being fake
No I have a very real brother who plays Melee legit ALL THE TIME to the point where I'm actually sick of hearing the controller clacking all the time lol. And I know not every game is, I know this because I like Smash 4, but it's not the same community as Melee has, it's far more welcoming, in fact there was an instance where a lot of Reddit pointed it out and discussed it. I mean in particular the face of Melee is bad, not saying locals, not saying majors, nothing in real life, but at least the way online shows, which to be honest has been the face of Melee since Netplay/Anthers/Reddit, it's really bad and it's the biggest turnoff I've ever seen. I'm not even saying it's a majority, but they are most certainly the loudest.
