In all honesty i voted for quote and shovel knight. I think it was more along the lines of "we screwed up, who's willing to let us put in a character for the smallest amount of money?".
Certainly would explain the snake deficit because konami is essentially non-existent at this point now that kojima is rip.

keep in mind they said bayonetta was the best "realizable" character
this means they most likely attempted to get my waifu in the game
but konami wouldn't let them because it's not a pachinko sim

I'm going with this theory.

I'm pretty upset that Bayonetta won. I voted Banjo and Kazooie, but I am extremely lenient and would be okay with just about anyone - it's unfortunate that Bayonetta had to win seeing as she was one of the very few I would not be okay with. I suppose the best way to vent is to just not buy her when she's released.

Honestly something about Bayonetta just doesn't fit Smash at all.
Maybe it's just how mature-themed she is, but it just seems so off.

I guess Snake kinda had the same problem to me, but he's so legendary it doesn't matter. :p

i think the reason they decided to just loving throw out the us votes is because a bunch of le funne memers voted for shrek and goku like a bunch of loving handicaps
