I didn't realize the media was a single, monolithic entity hell bent on misleading the American public.
It's funny because the youtube video that was posted here and that practically everybody here agrees with actually came from a news program.
and I've said similar statements in numerous threads before that link was posted. You know why fox is popular with the right wing? Because they say things that appeals to that wing.
Want to hear about how prayer needs to come back, how Obama is foreigner coming to take your guns, and how we have to save Israel? Fox. Want to hear how cops are tribal bastards, poor old Trayvon, and evil Israel? CNN/MSNBC. Want to hear about how the west is run by national socialists and how the world wants to destroy Russia? RT. These media corporations take something and spin it to fit they way they want to tell to their audience, then send it to the desired audience.
Yes this is probably an over used image

but think how easy it is to tell a story by manipulating the camera and adding or omitting details. Here we have a prisoner of war, he's getting water from a soldier while what looks like a medic treats him and some dude with a rifle stands by. To left we have a story about a prisoner of war being held a gun point while to the right we have a story about how a single American soldier gave a poor thirsty Iraqi some water from his canteen.
