Author Topic: PSA: Stop judging people by groups they are in  (Read 22722 times)

To be honest with you, if you are in public and you continuously exclaim that you are affiliated with people who watch a show that was meant to be broadcasted on TV for children around the age of 4-11, but also meant to be for girls.

Inserting yourself into a conversation and then blatantly admitting and speaking of the fact that you like MLP isn't a wise option because:
  • Nobody asked you about that, therefore making it extremely unlikely anybody would want to talk to you after that.
  • And also, you should keep your likings to yourself, flaunting that you are a furry or a brony doesn't help you in the slightest, so keep it to yourself.

But it's also a fact that the cavalier personality of the furry/brony fandom is unbearable, to the point where it even becomes a pain to even attempt to argue with any member of each fandom, it's foolish to think that a single person can keep an argument with a brony or a furry regarding his/her fandom of the choosing without the opposition clearly using strawmen or also falling to tu quoque to attempt to get his/her already failing point across.

It's genuinely ridiculous to think that certain users in this thread consider themselves above all complaints and criticism due to the fandom that they belong in, if you attempt to argue that I am in the wrong because my writings are the ones of a biased man, then I feel the urge to actually inform you that I don't hate the furry fandom and I don't hate the brony fandom, I hate you people who specifically decide to flaunt around your likings in an urge to get yourselves noticed in the internet as well as the outside world as 'special' snowflakes.

I don't truly feel like arguing my point any more because I know for certain that you will dissect my statements for any miniscule errors in order to blast your argument to the to the moon and back, if you truly feel like making more 'appeal to emotion' arguments then go ahead.

As a quick sidenote though: Ipquarx's 'don't be a richard' post has utterly no meaning whatsoever, if a person cannot accept criticism about the things they like to see, hear and etcetera then they should take a quick long breath and get the forget off the Internet, this isn't a place where everyone will be receptive to your opinions and likings, if you don't want to start a war, then don't mention nor flaunt around the fact that you are a member of the brony/furry fandom.

just judging from the thread title i can make an educated guess that this is about qi

nope furry/brony 'don't hate us' thread.

to be honest the worst part of the brony fandom are the people who aren't even part of it and complain about it where it isn't even a major discussion topic.
you're the main problem. not the people who like a tv show and share a common interest

hell, they're not even that much of an issue if any these days. not many people openly shout MLP!!!! in public.

op literally did just that wtf

So I am supposed to ask people to be nicer to groups of people without mentioning who those people are?

or maybe people should stop bringing it up like it's the hottest stuff when it's just a cry for attention or a longing to"fit in" with some group.

It's not about who's a brony or a furry or whatever the forget, you, and everyone else like you are just desperate losers looking for somebody or something to stuff on.

First weeks it's bronies because they're an easy target to your kind, next week you're stuffting on people who like buffy the vampire slayer because you've run out of easy bait.

After viewing frequency's profile I've concluded he's creepily obsessed with stuffting on flatflyer, so that pretty much strengthens my point

nah I'd stop past bronies and furries. it's not about "easy bait"

I'm glad you could get that out of your system, but I don't see how that contributes to the discussion.

I'm making a point that you're part of the cancer that perpetuates the very issue that everyone's discussing in this topic

The only thing you've contributed is stuffting on some random guy with a bird fursona. Good job?
