It turns itself back on if it detects you don't have another virus prevention software. They know people are going to turn it off and then wonder why they got infected by malware.

Anyone else having issues with HTML5 videos stuttering on Windows 10? Dunno if it's exclusive to Chrome or not but it's fine in Edge and flash videos are just fine in Chrome

why are we scared of the virus protection
we had the exact same thing in windows 8, not much has changed
and everything else can be turned off. you can change the feedback thing to never ask you, and set diagnostics to only send basic data, like what hardware you have and stuff.

Big brother can only watch over so much, it's the hundreds of little brothers you have to be concerned about. Think of all the script kiddies and hackers that can exploit all these information collecting methods that Microsoft put in.

This is a good point as well. Although Microsoft has never been hacked to my knowledge, that doesn't mean they can't be hacked.

you need to read. they will not monitor what you say in chat programs, and the monitoring happening with bing and any other web search programs already happens. it happens to google as well. its how you search things on the internet.

as far as the legal process goes, there's nothing we can do, that's a political issue and every website has to do that if they dont want to be shut down
