100% agree with his message, so much.
I was never taught anything actually important in school, not even how to manage a budget or be able to actually live in the real world. Bullcrap like trigonometry was deemed more important.
This is really what our school/education system in the US needs to be revised around, IMO. School's supposed to teach you what you need to live in the real world, but instead all you're taught is 99% useless abstracts. I bet that so much of the poverty currently faced in america is due to people not knowing practical life skills that are fundamental to doing well, because they were never taught them in school.
