yeah i'm done here because the gene that accounts for thick skulls has apparently been inside of most of the forumers
"my points are incorrect and poorly supported, clearly everyone disagreeing with me isn't listening"

but all i've got to say is this, that website doesn't say jack stuff about navigating usa.gov
I'm forgetin' Australian and I can easily figure this stuff out. Are you mentally impaired?

There's a giant goddam search-bar, and the site is divided with a bunch of tabs for different categories. THERE'S EVEN A CHILD-FRIENDLY VERSION MARKED WITH A CLEAR BUTTON THAT SAYS "For Kids".

The lyrics to the song just sound like a dumb teenager complaining about the 'practicality' of what he's learning, even though it's all foundational information. Nothing to see here.

the base of your argument is "you're going to miss something vital and you're going to immediately fail life from a couple of mistakes you made while filing stuff"

and despite us giving you multiple ways you can help prevent that, you continue to bring it up

if you can't understand that stuff, maybe you should've went to high school

ITT: people argue about a song's title

ya but how can you read when the text is upside down
It's not being upside down that bothers me, it's that I'm looking at websites from yesterday.

if you can't operate a website, a government website, at that, some thing is very wrong.
i'm telling you that i got lost in the sea of links that was this stuffstain of a design choice and the lack of direct information on the site doesn't help

100% agree with his message, so much.

I was never taught anything actually important in school, not even how to manage a budget or be able to actually live in the real world. Bullcrap like trigonometry was deemed more important.

This is really what our school/education system in the US needs to be revised around, IMO. School's supposed to teach you what you need to live in the real world, but instead all you're taught is 99% useless abstracts. I bet that so much of the poverty currently faced in america is due to people not knowing practical life skills that are fundamental to doing well, because they were never taught them in school.

I'll acknowledge that school is terrible at teaching useful life skills like managing money or living in the real world, but nothing at all stops you from doing research yourself- there's libraries, encyclopedias, and the Internet for a reason.

It's ironic because trigonometry is essential to so much basic stuff. Namely, it's almost impossible to build things like houses, bridges, and towers without trigonometry. Lots of things are made of triangles and you need trigonometry to find unknown measurements of triangles.

Bullcrap like trigonometry was deemed more important.
And with your opinion, we can clearly see why you think it wasn't important and why the education system wasted its time and resources with you :)
