What's the point in going to prison for 65 years? Might as well Self Delete before that as your entire life is gone anyways.

why should we let them get away with attempted murder with a measly 5 years
they're minors and their frontal lobes aren't fully developed yet, they probably need rehab more than they need prison time

In my opinion, it seems like a lot of people tend to think there are no such things as human criminals. Is the solution to every crime to just lock up the perpetrator and throw away the key? How much does it cost to give someone free food, shelter, and healthcare for basically their entire life? 5 years in therapy would not only be cheaper, but at the end of those 5 years it's highly likely they'll have been cured of the desire to murder for online characters. They'd be better off by being grown up in the first place.

When you're a child, grasping the concepts of pain and fear is hard in a sheltered life, and it's naturally harder to separate imagination from reality when young. Granted it's almost never as far as to take an imaginary character's word as to take another life, but they still should not be treated as mentally competent as adults.

Criminals are people too, and don't need to be dealt with by stuffing them into a prison for most of their lives.

I think being put into a mental institution until they're at least 18 would be a much better option considering they're frickin 12

they will probably be insane when they come out of wherever

Uh idk...like resonte said, I don't feel right saying that 12 year olds should go to jail for 65 years. But 5 years is not enough.

imo they should
be put into a mental institution until they're at least 18 considering they're frickin 12
and then be given a few years of intensive probation

Sure, put a couple of 12 year olds in prison. They'll be fine!

I'm so glad their lives are ruined. They won't be able to get jobs and will live in trailers. They deserve that.

A bold strategy, let's see if it pays off

How do you survive 19 stabbings?

Secretary of State Seward was stabbed over 30 times, in the face, chest and neck area, while lying disabled in bed (due to previous injuries from a horse carriage accident) during the night of Lincoln's assassination. He survived.
