Hey, is there an Upstream Repositories feature yet?

Not yet, and we're working on yet another site/mod manager revamp. I'll try to get it in this time for real, and hopefully new database/structure changes will make it integrate a lot more smoothly.

You need a better description of the "Restart Required" option. Using Support_Updater, most mods *never* need a restart when they are updated. This includes just about every server mod and most client mods.

People overuse the required restarts and it results in a poorer user experience because the game constantly wants to be restarted.

I agree, I'll add some more information to the upload page.

I didn't do this at first, but there seems to be no way to control client and server restarts independently. For example, it's completely fine to update new dup before you start a server, but it's not a good idea to randomly update it on a running dedicated server.

I also thought what would happen if you're already connected to a server and receives an update that will change server data, like datablocks, if it will force the client to disconnect or if it will "automatically reload" (Ha! Don't think so!).

I created an issue here.

We've been having some fun adding a few new features.

First off is another pass on the mod manager, featuring many more boards and a much cleaner and easier to navigate design.

The search page is getting some attention too, hopefully making add-on searches much easier.. and now including RTB.

We also have been working on some server functionality, including a new server preview made by Crown.

Also thanks to Crown, your avatar now appears on Glass Live.

We've given the LoadingGui some work, adding the server preview and player list (togglable of course). Gamemode creators are now able to set their own loading screen backgrounds too, similar to how maps worked pre-shadows.

On top of that, we're also working on implementing servers in to Glass Live, allowing you to invite your friends and see what everyone's up to. We're also working on adding Favorite Servers, allowing you to see them from the main menu and get notifications about their status.

None of this is quite done yet, but it's all coming along pretty quickly. We really just wanted to give a status update to get community input and show what we're up to. As usual, a big thanks to Crown and Shock/Paperwork.

Oh look, there's my server lol. But to be real, this is some cool stuff. The potential is great!

any estimated release date?

All of those new features look very nice, however do the loading screen/server preview features work if the server doesn't have glass?

Also if possible, what if the server's welcome message was added to those screens? Could work as a description of sorts.

Also I noticed the screens show if the host is in fact the host with H. Could this perhaps be done by Glass in the normal player list window to keep that admin letter scheme intact?

That all looks quite exciting, you guys are really going above and beyond :)

This all looks great, keep it up guys.

The loading screen works on any server. The server preview's image will work on any server but the playerlist will only load if the server is running Glass.

I'll see what can be done, eventually we want to allow for a lot more things to be modified with the playerlist.
