Touching up notifications a bit.

And the user window (feat. my alt)

In-game RTB add-ons

Whether we're going to have a closed beta this time around is up in the air still. Probably more about that in the coming week or two.

The requirement of a description.txt for add-ons is effectively restricting SpeedKart Maps, some deathmatch maps that do not have descriptions, and other potential gamemode maps from being put into Glass.

Also I would love being able to do more stuff while uploading an addon. Add dependencies, screenshots, etc without waiting for it to be approved. Also the limit on add-on title length (which errors out instead of showing an actual warning) is pretty small. Would love to make my titles longer.

I love what you guys are doing with Glass so far in any case, but I hope you make it easier for mod makers to do what they want.

I know this is nitpicky but cant we have an option to use the default window textures.
(So We can use custom themes, having two clashing themes is a clusterforget on the eyes.)

New features sound neat, as always.

But when will RTB preference support be re-added?

we never removed it, what are you talking about?

Version 3.2.1 (liftoff) has been released.

Changes:
[...]
  • Disabled rtb import until the system is improved

Unless that's not what it meant.

No, you should really add a description file to your maps saying who built it and what it's called.

For all other Add-Ons description.txt is required, but for Speedkarts a credits.txt is sufficient. I haven't tested what is required for a valid Speedkart Add-On, so I could be completely wrong. I myself do think that a description.txt should be used instead.

Edit: I checked the source, and apparently only a save.bls is required. If you add a description.txt, Blockland will interpret it as an Add-On even if it isn't. I would refrain from using description.txt to avoid Blockland trying to execute the archive and generate an error. Instead use the credits.txt that should be required(Currently is not) in the actual GameMode_SpeedKart. An environment.txt is optional.

i actually might get this it looks super sleek

"RTB Import" refers to looking through a user's add-ons and trying to find old RTB add-ons that have a newer, updated version available.

We can add an option to switch the gui profiles back to default but the content of the window will still be using the same theme, which arguably would look worse.

All of Glass will be offline starting at 10pm EST tomorrow (December 12) for maintenance. Maintenance will take 1-2 hours maximum and will impact the website, API (aka mod manager and server previews), live, and the hosting website/control panel. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Blockland Glass is great, I just have a problem with how it looks. It's unfitting, especially with the fact that the windows aren't really a rounded square and has no blue top for them.

Server maintenance is finished, took a bit longer than expected but everything should be good to go. Please report any new issues you may encounter.

I have an issue with one of my add-ons being in the wrong add-on categories. It's supposed to be a server script, but it's in cosmetics. I tried deleting my add-on by clicking the delete link associated with the add-on. But nothing happens, and when I refresh my page, nothing happens.

Edit: Here's a picture of the problem. I'd just like to have it moved to server scripts.

We'll be re-categorizing add-ons after this update, I'll make sure it ends up in the right place then.
