No because the movement as a whole has taken a turn for the worse, not necessarily because of misandry, but because of its lack of use.
Which movement in particular? There are many different movements involving feminism, I believe.
Actual misandry, such as "men should be designated to camps" is an ACTUAL minority.
That's a pretty extreme example. There are more levels to something than 'non-existent' and 'full-on'.
It is more of a blind following of the feminist mindset, the mindset that portrays women as victims and that anyone who says otherwise is just an "enemy of equality" or a "woman hater".
I'm not sure where you're getting the 'portrays women as victims' thing from. Even being a (regrettably) tumblr user, I don't even ever see this. And when I do see something ridiculous, it's usually shut down by reasonable feminists.
Feminism is not womens' representative movement in society.
You're right, it's an ideology.
It is for women, but it only represents feminism.
Not exactly just for women to be honest. There are factors involved that would help men as well. More particularly the whole 'men have to be super manly men and if you're not you get called a woman/gay.' The reason it'd help with that? Well, why is it that being a woman is an insult in the first place? Why are you called a woman simply for being less masculine? That's why it's called feminism, not womanism.
It's a cult.
This made me want to delete my post and move on but I've already typed everything.
You're delusional. The fact that this is BLF's off-topic section and still supports something that doesn't even directly affect them should be some sort of sign that you have to either be ignorant or an ass to be this stubbornly against it.
You wanted to keep your views on feminism away from your family. I say that's not enough. You should actually just keep your views away from everyone. Especially Ipquarx, who is still likely waiting on your post.
