Well metacritic is already forgeted since there is already 'The Legend of Zelda:Ocarina of Time(N64)' with a 99! metacritic; Ocarina of Time was good but jesus does it have some definite problem's so that metacritic rating is bullstuff already, Hell there are even movies on metacritic with a 100! rating.

maybe the only frustrating part of the game was going back from the palace to hotlands, then taking the boat to snowdin or going back through waterfall, then going all the way back to the ruins to visit asriel in the true pacifist ending -- and then going all the way forwards again. even then, though, i enjoyed being able to visit all the cool peeps again

I don't need to finish the game without having a definite opinion on it.

The game has some extremely tedious things about it, design flaws and all. There's also a ton wrong with sounds in the game, not to mention some that should be there but aren't.
It's a good game, I'm not saying it's bad, and I'm enjoying it greatly. I'm probably gunna log more hours into it than most of the games on my Steam account. But at the end of the day, it's veeeeeeery far from being one of the top games. Worth the money but not as good as people are climaxing it over for.
Still haven't listed WHY, like what is mechanically wrong with it? What kind of design flaws have you seen, because I didn't personally come across anything big that was wrong with the game.

In my French I class a kid (or possibly the teacher? She's young enough) did a doodle of Sans on the whiteboard on Friday. If I have a phone on Monday, and the drawing is still there, I might try to get a pic of it.

Many of the ambient loops aren't done correctly.
There should be footstep sounds, but aren't.
The audio, like the art, fluctuates greatly. Some audio is actual sound while other is 8bit.
Save spots are oddly placed. I have to walk miles just to set myself up to fix an error I made in a bossfight, for example, get myself extra items from a store eons away.
You die in a bossfight, right at the end, because of something pointless, just to restart it all over again.
You die anywhere and the last save ends up to be before pointless, small things, or is generally very far away from where you had died. Pointless walking.

The game uses too much 'lul randum' humor. Not that bad though.
The art in the game differs way too much. You play as a fat dora the explorer that doesn't have the ability to make a single expression and yet bosses seem to be expertly crafted. Animation is also a part of this. Some bosses are real cool, animated real well, yet your character has an amazing 4 frames of animation total.

There don't seem to be any sidequests, and you're on a pretty linear story that just changes around like a line-graph depending on what you do.

Absolutely no settings, at all.
No volume sliders.
No graphics settings, though that's passable, because the game's not demanding.
No resolution settings. Either fullscreen or really tiny.

The random encounters you have seem pointless. Like, some of the things that the monsters do, why is that specific action physically able to do damage?
Lots of random characters that don't seem to have any reason to exist than to magically appear for some pointless fight. Some characters are actually seen elsewhere in the game, so it's not irregular when you fight them, but some things are never even seen anywhere.

You have to watch the opening cutscene every time, though skippable.
Music is way too loud at times.

Problem's like volume slider's and resolution setting's could be easily fixed and probably will be in the future.

I hope most of these are fixed within the future.

im curious
did you only beat the game 1 time?

It's a 10/10 for what it is. It's not a life changing experience
??????

In my opinion, the thing that makes the game so good for me is a mix of atmosphere and setting. I'm not disagreeing with you at all - there are many things that are to be wished for, such as a volume slider (as I always play in fullscreen) and speaking of fullscreen, resolution settings.

I think the point of the art might either be lazy (that's a given) or made for effect. The ruins are more 8 - bit, they don't need much detail. The core is more 16 - bit, of course it needs more detail.

But what I'm more concerned with is what seems like the intuitive thinking behind the game. For example, the characters will know when you reset your file, and while this might be simple, it adds atmosphere to the game, making you feel like you really do have less power. Also, this includes a lot of that "lol randumb xddd" humor - it's placed well and isn't just there to be there.

I don't know, I just like the game.

what i dont get is the fact that the game punishes you for killing monsters, when its a RPG game

it's meant to criticize other RPGs where you practically commit genocide just to level up.

thats taking a lot of things out of context lol

I'm disappointed the act system is as boring as it was. It feels like undertale just replaced the boring grinding with an even more boring dialogue selection screen w/ occasional bullet hell stuff.

because monster killing is obviously a crime running rampant nowadays

I like the act system, it kinda the same like attacking only more visual based rather than stat based.

My main complaint about it, especially considering how much you can alter the ending of the normal routes, is that there's
