ya i know what leitmotifs are but why he gotta make so much

cus it ties things together and has the added bonus of making things the slightest bit easier

if every song in the soundtrack were completely unique (or most of them were), the game would probably feel a lot less cohesive (and there would probably also be fewer songs). the fact that hopes and dreams has the lietmotifs of undertale and your best friend is incredibly appropriate and awesome. i certainly don't think it detracts from the quality of the music. it's a choice of musical design that's best understood in the context of what it provides to the game itself. in an ordinary soundtrack it'd probably be weird

when the second part of that fight came on and the music completely changed, some of the mood was killed for me tbh, it would've been better if he just made it a grittier version of hopes and dreams

also something about a feeling of nostalgia during certain parts of certain songs

"Burn in Despair!" is a remixed snippet of You Idiot / Your Best Nightmare. it is a somewhat jarring song to be in the middle of the sequence but it does reference another song

You won't be able to see my flower unless you back away a little

And, naturally, the first thing i see is "Riddler did nothing wrong".
Oh, you found it.........

Edit:
If you zoom out and put a flower outside the normal viewing range, it gets placed within the normal viewing range, so now my flower's no longer a secret :(

Killing him doesn't ruin your pacifist run
You only get 1 EXP and no LV up so don't worry you didn't kill anyone important

Edit: i just found out I got that from a rumor

I mean I don't blame you for killing him

You act like you have to go against him like he's part of the normal story. You had to go out of your way to do that. :l

Killing him doesn't ruin your pacifist run
actually i'm p sure it does
but not killing him doesn't ruin a genocide run
