the pope and priests do not have the capacity to inflict significant karma deductions except by ignoring his job responsibilities and letting people plant drugs and eat corpses

if that happens the mayor can pass a law that makes him the pope or the citizens can band together to kill the pope
or the citizens can band together and kill the mayor to get a mayor who passes the law

the most the pope can do actively is intentionally trigger bad events but doing that adds karma and its on a 5 minute timer so it doesnt even matter

edit: I need to stop checking this topic obsessively. It's not even active for several days and I'll still check it every hour. This would be ok if there was more content being posted, otherwise I'm looking for activity where there is none. It's probably bad that this is the main thing I'm looking forward to this week lol.
