From what I've read CISA requires internet companies to pass data to the NSA and DND if it looks it may pose a 'cybersecurity threat'. It doesn't sound bad on paper, but the flaw is that 'cybersecurity threat' is extremely loosely defined and is theorized to allow information to be used for investigations in essentially any type of crime, cyber or not. The main issue with this really is that 1) It undermines privacy policies (because companies basically no long have to follow them) and 2) Way too much information will be shared due to the extremely loose definition.
