Author Topic: Minecraft Playertypes (Even more Mobs added)  (Read 30580 times)

Simplified Blockland styled Minecraft playertypes. Part of a project to restart my Minecraft TDM. I'm uploading these in case people want them.
First up, Steve.

Exactly the same as the default no jet player.
Also, armoured versions.

Enderman: 200 HP, tall, opens mouth when crouching or attacking

Also a bunch of other mobs

Iron Golem: 500 HP, tall, slow

Giant: 500 HP, very big, normal walking speed. Also has Boss variant with 5000 HP.
Ghast: 50 HP, unlimited jets, slow, big

Thanks. I'm learning a more Blockland-ish style of modelling after how out of place my tanks looked, so advice would be good. I plan to make leather, iron and diamond variants for the TDM.

Love the model. Fits in much better than the regular Minecraft playertype.

I hope you mean separate items that you mount onto the player. That'd just be easier and better to do.

Not really. I do mean separate playertypes. I'm not good at making items, so I don't know how to make a body armour. Also, it would be confusing for people playing the TDM to have to use an item before fighting, and some might not notice they have it. Besides, I have plans for each of their stats.

Whoa! I was not expecting this!

Does this mean you might remake the Minecraft TDM? :O
Nvm, I was too excited and didn't read. I can't wait for the TDM to come back! Hype!

Have more hype now that there are armoured versions

:O Yes! I indeed will have more hype!

However, I have a flaw to point out. Ingame, the head seems a bit rotated to the left as the resting position.

Whoops. A problem with the Headside animation. Fixed it.

Awesome! I also see you released the armored versions!
I'm totally diggin' this playertype!

more proof that blockland is a minecraft ripoff

Nice model. It has the look of Steve while being in the style of Blockland—it's not just boxes with a pixely skin.

body parts don't change color with your player?? :/

Nope, sadly. I don't know how to do that, and the TDM I'm making doesn't need it.
Also,
