Name: Emir Szczepanski
Age: 28
Alignment: Himself
Physical Traits: 6'2", burly build, brown eyes, short dark brown hair, and sick as forget mutton chops.
Bio: Son of a lowly wandering merchant, Emir lived on the road as long as he can remember. His father, for the younger years of Emirs life, worked himself to the bone to barely afford to feed the both of themselves, protection and a basic education for the young Emir. As he grew up, he had begun to be steadily tasked to make money himself, beginning to slowly take over merchant work from his father who strictly instructed him the walk of such a life. The work-load became larger as his father became older, and eventually in his fathers late years he succumbed to a fever prompting him to carry on with the work in his stead. After six long years of buying, selling, and trading, and eventually losing the entirety of his wealth to Narvik raiders, after witnessing and inadvertently assisting in the defeat of his robbers, he put away the charter and took up the sword and enlisted in the mercenaries that had defeated them at the age of 25. For three years he accompanied them, learning the way of a warrior, before striking out on his own, in hopes of combat, conquest, and cologne. tl;dr, he was a little merchant nerd and then became a MAN.
Traits, skills, and abilities: A competent fighter, but a fledgling commander. He can considerably haggle someones prices down, gather a crowd, and flatter lords and peasants alike, but he can't sell a Masovian snow. Good mathematics and etiquette. Poor handling of horses and medicine. Can't swim, but he has really nice mutton chops.

d-did i do it right dad?

I go back to collect two additional men and leave at nightfall
You and your small party of 6(?) venture to investigate the whereabouts of the hideout. You come across a concealed encampment deep in the thick brush to the northeast just as your scout had predicted, however, there are more tents than there are you.
Scout: What will we do now, sir?

I attempt to pledge myself to Tsar Vladimir, to be used as he sees fit against the Kingdom of Narvik and the Carpaccian Empire.
Tsar Vladimir the Terrible: I am pleased to hear of another loyalty, but you have no men nor prestige. How can I know you will be an asset to my kingdom if you have no reputation? How can I know you aren't one of those western dogs I'm hearing so much about? Leave my presence until you can prove your utility.

just waitin to arrive in tarmoth and get lods of emone
After resting for many hours, you awaken to the frantic shouting of one of the caravan's load-bearers telling you of a bandit ambush. The caravan master's apparently missing, and so he urges you to lead the caravan before the bandits can hijack it.

Tu Khan: Recruit at Mughataal, Orum, and then head back to Gobi and train, then rest.
You make a series of convincing pleas and fleet-footed adventuring, totaling to 13 untrained footmen. You then go on to train them.

You receive word of Bulgar Khan's temporary diplomatic absence to Shirvan for unknown reasons.

A festering wound in the Masovian wilderness, the Vaasan people have a boiling rage on their reclusive peninsula. The tsar himself is taking notice now due to an increase in military consciousness in the area. Tsar Vladimir has decided to send a mercenary group to put down the rebellion before it can begin.

You're a scoundrel and a buffoon, and your prices are outrageous! (WAR DECLARED!)

Emir: As you would have it, your imperial majesty, I shall return when I have made a better name for myself.

Recruit some good ol' goys from Tsarigrad, working off the news of a potential upstart to a realm already quaked by war to try and gather as many men as he can, promising glory, fame, and riches to be had crushing the potential Vaasan rebels.

Head west to Bakur and recruit. Also, listen in the taverns for more talk of peace.

LOOK AT THIS ILLEGITIMATE BASTARD SON!!!!!!!!

Recruit some good ol' goys from Tsarigrad, working off the news of a potential upstart to a realm already quaked by war to try and gather as many men as he can, promising glory, fame, and riches to be had crushing the potential Vaasan rebels.
You rally 9 untrained footmen to your side.

Head for Sochi.
Your party is briefly assaulted by a Narvik raiding party before they realize you're a real company of soldiers and not some squalid fishermen. Some of your men gain experience as a result and your party continues on their way to Sochi.

Head west to Bakur and recruit. Also, listen in the taverns for more talk of peace.
You arrive in Bakur and assemble 5 untrained archers. You eavesdrop on the barkeep to learn of Bulgar Khan's audience with Sultan Yusuf in Shirvan. Perhaps an end to this war is in order?

two of you head back to the town and grab 4 men to help support us, we're going into the camp before dawns light.

make sure you're silent on the way back and spread out into three groups of two each.
Your men return with your requested reinforcements and prepare for the next move.

CUE ACTION MUSIC:
Kaiki is dazed, but asks the caravaneer about the general situation.
Load-bearer: I've already told you about the general situation. Weren't you listening? We have to leave, now!

this is the last time you're changing your name

Head to Shirvan, pursue these rumors.

Train, and then head to Sochi.
