Lapidot has got to happen because they've dropped too much foreshadowing already. Between the Camp Pining Hearts symbols and the 'I'm all set' comment, it's either Zuke loving with us or legit foreshadowing.

why do they keep lapidot alive?

was i the only one who thought that meant the alien toy on her finger? that would be another reason (aside from her lack of shapeshifting) why she says it in that frustrated tone

Lapidot has got to happen because they've dropped too much foreshadowing already. Between the Camp Pining Hearts symbols and the 'I'm all set' comment, it's either Zuke loving with us or legit foreshadowing.

i wouldn't be surprised with either, but it'd also make narrative sense. the opportunity for them to eventually fuse is too perfect, peridot is unsure about fusion and lapis just got out of malachite, it seems so intentional that it was set up that way
