The first time I landed on Duna (I cheated, though, so it doesn't really count) I saw Ike eclipse the sun.
Still haven't landed legitimately on Duna, even though I've been to Laythe. Said Laythe mission involved sticking a different payload on the Duna rocket, as it was a bit overengineered. Would've landed on Duna, but the game crashed mid-flight.

Said mission was when I decided "forget it" and just started retroburning to hit Duna, efficiency be damned, causing my trajectory to be summed up as "a straight line towards the sun that hits Duna on the way."

I think the mod author just ports the mod onto the next update and that's it.  DMP is currently on the latest version of KSP as of now.

after loving around in kopernicus for a while, i did it.

i created a planet.
also, from the outside it looks ugly as stuff, but the surface looks beautiful

Yeah, there are a lot of mods that have other solar systems in KSP.  This one has seven different solar systems that orbit around a black hole including Kerbol.

hey, when i finish adding planets to my poor game, should i upload it to the forums?
i'm thinking of all the things that i add being brown townogs of asteroid belt objects.
also, an update on it. 1st planet now has a giant moon, and i added a gas giant (2 moons so far) and a desert planet.

Sure, you can post them here.  Just make sure to link Kopernicus as well so no one will have issues playing your map.  Also are you using pre-made templates to make the planets or are you creating custom templates because I've tried to make a water planet using Laythe's template but it literally just scaled Laythe into the size of my planet.
