he's probably right. the process to construct nuclear weapons probably causes tons of pollution, since they're essentially working with high yields of heavy metals and radioactive elements. it probably produces thousands of pounds of waste
however compared to co2 emissions it's the equivalent of dropping a candy bar wrapper on the street. so worry about the wrong thing for the right reasons?
