This is more or less my position on the subject. If stuff gets bad enough that a draft is called, then I should hope that I have a personal enough stake in whatever conflict that I'd want to be involved. Like, if the US ever got invaded and a draft was called and I was up, then I wouldn't be happy about it, but I'd get it.

If anything, now I have a personal stake in not electing people who I think would lead us into a war. War is stuff.
