i was thinking about starting to play this game, is there anything i should know and what should i focus on learning
Spray control. Basically the pattern your weapon shoots in. Every gun is different.
Grenade placements. For smokes to block of certain areas of the maps, pop flashes, etc.
Movement. You run faster with your knife out, side stepping with guns, etc.
Crosshair placement. Place the crosshair where you think the enemy will be before you turn the corner, so you only have to make micro corrections if you see him.
TheWarOwl makes a ton of great video tutorials that I recommend checking out if you're actually serious in learning how to play.
Note: No matter how much knowledge of the game you have, it doesn't matter if you don't practice. The game is a very huge learning curve, but once you figure it all out, it's a very fun game.
