Has anyone played Train recently? It's so goddamn T sided its stupid, we ended the first half 10-3 on T side and won 16-12 after the CT half. It's a little more fair that nuke used to be and better than aztec/dust1 but it's pretty stuffty getting constantly forgeted up every goddamn round.

Atleast you can use some tactics that don't really happen on more fair maps like dust2 and mirage

Train, amongst with almost every other defuse map, is slightly CT sided. Like, it's not an opinion, I can say it like a fact. CT rotates from either site can be done so quickly, the terrorists will barely have enough time to plant the bomb before the entire CT team is performing the retake.

As a whole, the fundamental game play of counter strike automatically gives whichever team is defending the upper hand. Holding angles and jiggle peaking is generally speaking much easier than having to check each corner you go around as a terrorist, and out aim CTs who are already most likely have their cross hair on your head due to the fact they're holding the same angle that you're coming from.

Same goes for holding a bombsite as a terrorist. If the bomb has been planted in a 3 v 3 with both teams having a full buy, I'd rather be the terrorist team, due to the reversed roles, and the fact that defending is just so much easier in counter strike, provided you know what you're doing.

Although, at the end of the day, map sided-ness makes absolutely no difference in match making and pug environments anyway, with it being more based on who has the faster reflex's . And for some reason, I have a preference for Terrorist side anyway.

Hello members of the CSGO thread, my name is OfficerKenny or JoeysWorldTourLIFE (however you may know me as)

Today, I am officially going to not play CSGO full time anymore.  Now before you reply to me and say 'KYS you aren't a pro, don't use terms like full time", I mean that i wont be playing CSGO as much as i used to.  I have very different reasons for not playing as much and here they are:

1. the Ranking System
Now before you go ape stuff on me, let me just say i got this account as a test account just for this reason.
I recently got an alt account (no its not a smurf account and i'll tell you why in a sec) because I wanted to see what my rank would be if I decided to restart again.  So, I did just that was going to be ranked into the Gold Nove area (GN 1- GNM).  I know this because out of the 6 games I played, only 1 was in silver.  To me, this shows how forgeted up the ranking system is and how it needs to be fixed ASAP.  I guess now my main is now a smurf account??  I'm not really sure what to call my account to be honest at this point.  here it is: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198341602856 .  Also, Prime matchmaking CSGO is a loving joke.

2. The Skins system
I will admit it, I had/have an addiction to CSGO skins.  Every aspect of them is appealing to me, IDK why.  It all started when I really wanted a knife, and i bought myself a gut knife Case Hardened.  After this, it escalated from there, and with the release of drakemoon, it didn't help very much.  I ended up spending way too much of my savings on this game and I regret every dollar i spent.  I wish I could just go back and stop myself.  Now, every time I find myself wanting to buy skins/ gamble, I go play disc golf/ frisbee golf or I go to the gym.  I honestly just spent way too much money on this game period.

3. The Community
I really don't have much to say about this community other than it is extremely salty and whenever there is a grill in a casual lobby, the salt levels go off the charts and it's unplayable.  I don't like to get salty, I am a nice person who likes to have fun and it feels almost like a salt disease that is starting to overcome me and I am turning into one of these salty players.  I mean for forgets sake, this guy used to cast on TV and used to play CSGO professionally and look how salty he is towards everyone: https://www.youtube.com/user/moetv1337 .  Lastly, the scammers on this game are unreal.  This guy tried to scam me 20 times for forgets sake and even after I got his IP, he didn't stop (Valve didn't do stuff BTW).  Even to this day, I haven't posted on CSGOLounge for weeks, people are still trying to pull this crap.

Lastly, I am not trying to make people stop playing the game.  If you like the game, keep playing.  I just thought I would say this because you won't see as many giveaways as I used to do and I won't be as active on here.
