my sister was highly disciplined growing up; she wasn't allowed to go to her friends' houses or pretty much anything unless she had a c or higher in every class. she was also beaten with a belt all the time. she snuck out every night, didn't listen to my parents, and drank/smoked. however, my parents didn't restrict me like they did with my sister; they pretty much let me do what i though was right and supported me. i've never done any of the things my sister has done except smoke weed.
