but get this:

what if there is

What if there isn't?

Can't devote your entire life in believing in something that may not exist.

Do you know how many people are killed in the name of god? If there were a god he wouldn't allow it to happen, just like how he wouldn't allow millions to starve to death in third world countries.

idk man, tlaloc might allow it

Well that's not necessarily true

Just because this theoretical being is omnipotent doesn't mean he's not a cunt. The last time I was playing the sims I put a baby in a barbecue, it happens.

so is that what australians do for fun, then?

put another shrimp on the baby

It's fearmongering to people who do believe in this honky
how

Somebody has probably said it already, but Israel becoming a nation again is  kinda a self fulfilling prophecy

My explanation for this is that someone in power would be aware of that prophecy and do their best to make it a reality, hence what the Allied powers did post World War 2

but what if there is

Even if there is are you planning on giving your allegiance to this all knowing creature?

I wouldn't.

For all you know our god could just be an alien from a type 3 civilization.

Well I do happen to believe it and I don't think it's fearmongering. Any more than if you are a football fan and sports brown townysts predict your favorite team is going to lose.

Your lone opinion on this does not represent everyone. Just because you don't think it is doesn't mean that it actually isn't.

Have some faith yo

My favorite football team doesn't mean the rapture of the saved, destruction of the earth, death of a large amount of people and the banishment to eternal hell though

The argument in the OP still reeks of a bit of conclusion bias
