OH

GOD
MY SIDES

The usual feel I get is that gender is """""a social construct""""" so I can change it when ever I want
I'm not quite that loose on the definition of gender. People who unironically identify as animals are either crazy or making stuff up. When I heard that people could spontaneously switch between extremes of masculine and feminine, my initial instinct was that it was bullstuff. But just like with lucid dreaming, there's no way for me to know one way or another.

There's also plenty of people that insist that gender isn't just a slider between masculinity and femininity, but they aren't able to provide any other variables for people to choose from. If there's no way to describe the difference between being 'agender' and somewhere between masculine and feminine, then is it actually a meaningful term?

You don't understand what I'm getting at here? What if everyone also expects you to start wearing female clothes and the like? Are you telling me that your own gender expression wouldn't take a pretty big priority in your life at that point?
except if all of the sudden this magically happened of course i'd be upset. but its people mislabeling you of what you are physically instead of mislabeling you of what you are mentally which is a huge difference.

im not saying dudes cant like barbies and girls cant like gi joes, but if you got the balls in your pants then act like it. there's a reason guys act like guys and girls act like girls. for instance, what if you had traffic lights that were go on green and stop on red, but on the other hand some other traffic lights were go on red and stop on green? even if there was a sign showing you which one was which. it'd still be pretty loving annoying. there's no use for it and it would just cause more wrecks.

except gender isn't as important as traffic signals

except gender isn't as important as traffic signals
it is if they're playing you on until they reveal whats going on down stairs.

plus its an brown townogy

i mean like the only reason that you need to know what someone's got in their pants is if you're dating them or about to forget them

i mean like the only reason that you need to know what someone's got in their pants is if you're dating them or about to forget them
you can still have uncontrollable feelings for someone who you would just consider a friend.

Ah, okay, I can see why the brown townogy wasn't working for you. Let me revise it:

Let's say you wake up in a Twilight Zone kind of fiasco, where all genitalia is essentially swapped. You still view yourself as male, yet the rest of society doesn't, and insists that you dress female and go by 'she'. Even though you're provably, physically 'female' in this scenario, would you allow this to happen?

there's a reason guys act like guys and girls act like girls. for instance, what if you had traffic lights that were go on green and stop on red, but on the other hand some other traffic lights were go on red and stop on green?
I don't think that's a reasonable brown townogy because enforcing traffic lights is essential for people's safety. The same can't be said about gender expression (or at least I don't think so).

it is if they're playing you on until they reveal whats going on down stairs.
This is a stereotype pretty much on par with the old myth that all homoloveuals are child molesters. In my time living in a liberal metropolitan area, I've met plenty of transgendered people, and all of them were extremely transparent about their gender identity. Unless you're soliciting hookers from Southeast Asian countries, this should never be a problem for you.

Feelings don't Annoying Orange science
i literally showed you the science

There's also plenty of people that insist that gender isn't just a slider between masculinity and femininity, but they aren't able to provide any other variables for people to choose from. If there's no way to describe the difference between being 'agender' and somewhere between masculine and feminine, then is it actually a meaningful term?
generally in this context it's not understood to be a quantifiable concept, it's just a way to describe someone's own experience. that's actually why so many different terms have come to exist, because people can have vastly different feelings that they want to describe specifically, and just masculine and feminine extremes don't really cut it.

also 'agender' is probably a slightly incorrect term, 'nonbinary' is what people usually use.

im not saying dudes cant like barbies and girls cant like gi joes, but if you got the balls in your pants then act like it. there's a reason guys act like guys and girls act like girls. for instance, what if you had traffic lights that were go on green and stop on red, but on the other hand some other traffic lights were go on red and stop on green? even if there was a sign showing you which one was which. it'd still be pretty loving annoying. theres no use for it.
if i get what you're saying, this is actually getting into a really tricky and interesting nature vs. nurture area now, and that's up to psychological understanding that we don't really have. you can find a lot of studies that say a lot of different things about love and psychology, but in the end it's actually surprisingly difficult to study fundamental gender differences in a vacuum because of how quickly gender socialization (that probably sounds like a tumbler SJW term but it's actually a legitimate sociological concept) begins. which sucks because that's a pretty important thing to try to understand about human psychology lol. our best point of reference is instead just the differences between different cultures and that's not particularly accurate

I have an brown townogy

You're an American voting Republican, then suddenly you decide to vote Communist for some weird reason. Are you now Chinese for voting Communist?

i literally showed you the science
So feelings do Annoying Orange science...?

i cannot decipher the meaning

another brown townogy please

So feelings do Annoying Orange science...?
no? but science supports the legitimacy of transgenderism so its wrong for you to not respect that (or at the very least be indifferent)

also your brown townogy literally makes 0 sense
