All I know is that buried or cremated are the dumbest ways to expect to be revived/renew.
Most people don't expect to be revived/renew. They expect to die.

Good for them. I'll die to expect to get revived.

Tell me, what do I have to lose? I'm not missing out on heaven or hell so what am I losing out on?

People get cremated because they think their spirit will soar away into the sky with the ashes. This is false.

You're wasting your body when it could of been good use to science.

Well, quite a bit. If you die of old age, you'll be withered and senile by the time that you die, and thus will be revived in that state. Dying young would cause you to miss out on literally everything that's going on in the world following your death, until you get revived; this is, of course, assuming that your corpse doesn't have any major wounds, as those would cause damaging ice crystals to form inside of your body cavity.

Also, this is assuming your body isn't vandalized or that the power on your freezer is never cut. A single poorly-timed solar flare would end all of your hopes and dreams by crippling the power grid, leaving you a soggy corpse of a young man in a small metal room.

Maybe this was a blessing in disguise. This could be content for one of your episodes.

I'll be dead. So it's not like I'll care if my corpse is vanadized. That stuff is happen even if you get buried.

I'll be dead. so it's not like I'll notice the power went out and be like "oh stuff there goes all my hard work!"

If my body is too old or too damaged that's what the robot body is for, bro.

copying and moving brain "data" inc memories, personality, knowledge ect. is far more likely to happen in the future.
either into a computer(robot) or a cloned new body, either cloned from my old self, or any ordered body i please.
only real issue is that waiting period while you grow and wait for that transplant :P

old age wont really be a thing, just a matter of "time to trade up."

I'm like 90% sure people get buried because having corpses above ground is both unsightly and unhealthy

and i'm p sure people get cremated because it's cheaper and the family can keep the ashes

He aint saying he think's it's gonna happen. He's saying that getting frozen gives you the 0.1% advantage of revival over being burnt into ash.

It's just opportunistic. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Who cares. The brother is dead.

Too bad we don't have this technology yet because it's "playing god" and religious people don't like being wrong.

So they have to force technology to slow down.

Exactly if it doesn't work it doesn't work. I won't be consciously aware to care.

Still a higher probability of revival than being burnt to ash. I'm just picking the logical option here.

As long as Kevin doesn't spill soda on my frozen chamber I'll be fine.

And living forever because you put your brain in a robot isn't?
myth < science

If you truly want to be useful, donate your body to science. It'll probably be the most knowledge-advancing thing you will do your entire life.

If my girlfriend would rather die and reincarnate into a lady bug than be with me as a robot for an eternity then who sounds more selfish here? Not I.

Bitch has 500,000 dollars in life insurance. That's enough to freeze us both. She said no. She said she will not be funding my freezing venture.
