completely missing the context where he couldnt handle her having xr as a best friend and argued with her about it enough to cause her to seriously consider breaking up.

Things seem to have settled down at this point and apologies have been offered on both sides. It's only a matter of time until the next situation though.

Not really following closely so I can't make a comment about the general ethics of the situation, but I do have to say that going over that dudes house and cuddling with his ex that he broke up with because of you is probably one of the most rude things someone could have done in your current situation. The only thing worse about the situation is that she cuddled with you in front of her ex boyfriend that is letting her stay at his house.

Plus, it jeopardizes her living situation. If he's this pissed off, he's not going to want to see this girl every day. He was effectively doing her a huge favor by letting her stay at his house, and then you practically walked in and tandem stuff on his chest. I wouldn't blame the guy for asking her to leave.

im not saying he ought to let her stay or that what happened is justified. just that if (s)he gravitated towards someone else there must have been something lacking in the relationship. whether its him or her is unsure.

given her actions it probably was her who lacked the relationship maturity - it could also possibly be both of them not having the kind of love that could mature into "mature love" or whatever its called

and honestly yes, id let her leave if that was the case. trying to hold on would be futile unless her reasons for leaving are temporary and would pass with time.

As of the first few minutes of December 05, 2016, we are officially in a relationship. And this has concluded our saga as a member of the Blockland Forums went from beta af to friendzoned to breaking out of the friendzone to being in an official relationship.
