ive just been playing snapmap for a few hours, i love it. havent touched singleplayer yet

It looks like the snapmap limits you to one level or something, because I've seen the same places over and over in different snapmaps.

Also I tried out the multiplayer and after about 10 minutes of queing and never getting close to going into a match, I've given up for good

i play on ps4, and there is about 3000 minimum playing doom multiplayer. and i can always join a match. im not sure about the pc community of doom though, maybe try just the team deathmatch gamemode, because that tends to be the most popular.

That's a lot of players so it is probably something on your end stopping you from joining games. Maybe your NAT type is messing with it?

if by entire loving screen you mean 1m on-front of you, then you are correct, its really not a big loving deal
