it literally says on the back of the loving card and i quote:
"a 4.95 monthly fee will be applied against unredeemed funds at the beginning of the 13th month after purchase"
so if i wait /5 years/ then im not going to have money anymore

That's for a prepaid card. since I'm guessing you didn't pay upfront for the card (other than the funds you deposited on it, obviously) $5 a month for upkeep (after 1 year!) isn't that bad, especially since it's subtracted from the card so it will only apply as long as you are spending. i really doubt you'll be on the same card after 13 months dude, assuming you use it correctly.

I've had a checking account since I was 13. See if your parent's bank has a "teen checking" or something like that.

I remember when i was still a minor i got around this by linking my bank account and having them mail something to my house and it worked fine.

i did pay upfront the forget are you on? went to the store and bought the card, put 20$ on it and went home
i didn't know or think that just by using a service that allows me to buy things from websites and adding money to said website would require me to tell them everything about me all the way down to the length of my loving asscrack
