Author Topic: Really disappointing moments in games  (Read 9167 times)

Starbound in general. Maybe the new update is better, I haven't played it yet.

Fallout 4's dialogue system was hot garbage. It lent itself no replayability because half the speech options could be boiled down to 3 yeses and 1 no.

Halo 4 was just kinda stuffty in general.

Assassin's Creed 3 was nowhere near what I hoped it would have been. The story felt very half-baked and I didn't like the main character very much.

Fallout 4 in general, I barley enjoyed it.

BF4's campaign, it loving sucked, I only did it for the weapons in multiplayer BF3's campaign was also boring.

Buying Rocket League when my friends begged me to get it, they told me we'd play it a lot and how it's amazing. We played it for a week then they stopped, still pissed off about it to this day.

The sims 4 being really, really bad. It was just a more optimized and better looking/functionning Sims 2. And the reason it pretty much looks better is probably because sims 2 was rushed because of a server fire. Seriously, the graphics of sims 2 look better in the trailers before that server fire.

Dark Megaman in MMBN4 and Dr. Regal appearing in MMBN5 to control the villains.

The final chapter in ghost trick revealing almost nothing about some plot points and being really easy.

Half-Life 3, Starbound, Sim City 5.

Chips Challenge 1 releasing on steam without an option to have a high resolution or i think even full screen.

the entire game

at one time in my life i was but a mere child playing runescape on a really bad pc. i couldnt run too many other games but that did not stop me from sometimes warching trailers of other games mournfully. one fateful trailer binge and ruminating session led me to discover this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T8dvMDFOFnA . a million thoughts raced through my mind and most of them were holy forget or oh stuff because that looked like the greatest game of all time. i waited 3-4 years, and by waited i mean waited because i never forgot what the game promised, until i recieved a slightly less stuffty pc and spore as a birthday present. when i ran the game what welcomed me was one of the simplest and most boring games i have ever played. in hindsight i should have been extremely wary of all the promises spore offered but this was the first and only time i would ever get hyped for a video game

forget you spore

the ending of borderlands 1.

[finally get to the vault, massive bitch tries to open it ahead of you. she dies, the vault portal spawns some eldritch horror. you kill it, vault portal collapses. riches, fame and guns you've been after the entire game? nah man MAYBE IN TWO HUNDRED YEARS HAHA. tanner says she'll give you a stuff ton of money for the key though so at least that's cool

That game killed any chance of me buying early access if it didn't already have gameplay out

When you grind in a RPG (Like Final Fantasy) and forget to save.
When I was scammed on a game (Which I'm not going to mention)
When keep on failing at my a boss battle (IN MY OWN RPG GAME).
When the my computer forgeted up my save in Minecraft and Terraria.
