Is there some fundamental difference between the ramen that is sold in America and that which is sold in the UK? When I buy ramen I buy the bowls, and those come as a bowl of noodles with some dehydrated components such as vegetables or meat (aware they're most likely tofu or something similar) and three sachets: One of dehydrated garnish (spring onions and such), a powdered broth base and another with some sort of hydrated paste/sauce which usually makes up the meat or seafood body of the broth once stirred in.
With such an option available, why would you buy the ones that you have to do in the pan unless you're going to do some silly stuff with them a-la that 4Chan ramen guide?
