Author Topic: APB: Reloaded Megathread  (Read 8552 times)

ABP actually isn't even midly interesting. Once you play a few matches and I mean like 2 it's repetitive as forget.

Also at one point ABP did use to cost 60 dollars and that's why it flopped. Because who would pay 60 dollars for a broken game like ABP?

autistic cumbag.

Take it down a notch.

GTA 5 online pretty much is the better game, in every way. ABP and ABP reloaded can't hold a candle to it.

Also kind of weird to have a megathread for a dead game when there was hundreds of other topics about it years ago.
When Tony needs to add fuel to his arguments because they're getting no bait, he always doubeposts.. tripleposts if it still doesn't work. :0

Me and a friend were ruining these two russians and one of them had his mic always on. It was so funny to hear him go nuclear because I killed him with barely any health remaining.

What? The game is dead.

The game was criticized heavily on these forums and off these forums. All the topics on these forums were just making fun of the game.

McJob stuffs on No Man's Sky but plays ABP reloaded.
Tony, you play No Man's Sky and Fallout 2. You have no taste at all. It's practically like you're mentally challenged.

I've created the BL Forumers clan; pretty basic at the moment but it should do.

I've actually seen a decent argument on the payment system for APB. It's not that terribly P2W, there are some really loving dangerous people who use the stock gun, which many say is the basis for balance on a lot of weapons. And inversely there are people who use some of the "OP" weapons and absolutely suck.

Honestly the BIGGEST issue I have with game, but can sometimes just get over if I'm playing with friends, is the atrocious matchmaking. Also the game isn't really that dead, the main channels are almost always full, and that's all I ask for tbh. It's a flawed game, for sure, but it has redeeming qualities that keep people coming back.

Pretty sure Fallout 2 is still recognized as the best fallout game next to New Vegas.

I agree, the stock weapon is perfectly fine, but it all comes down to skill. A great player using a stuff weapon can (obviously) outperform a trash player w/ themost op weapon. (though if you use the peacemaker, forget you)
You don't have to spend any money on the game to do well. I only buy the N-TEC w/ the weapon mod (it's only 7k iirc) and do perfectly fine with it.

Yes, the matchmaking is complete garbage. You can be rank 22 and go against Rank 225's and they'll forget your stuff up. Gold players will purposely derank to silver so they can join bronze districts, get back to gold from stomping on newer players, and stay in the bronze district as gold. (thats why you see gold players in bronze dists) No one plays in gold districts because people just want to stomp on newer players, instead of having an actual challenge.

I often get gold rankings but I honestly don't deserve it. I end up playing on the silver districts for an hour and get kicked back to silver rank, where I can go to bronze dists and do decent again (and also play with the majority of my friends).

Two can play that game, my friend.

APB has been out longer.

NMS had a technical problem at launch, reviews can still change.

I'll also say that the biggest issue is that the majority of people that still play are really experienced players that have been there since day one. This puts a strain on new players, especially because of the bad matchmaking. It's not super terrible in the beginning because it will usually match you up with fresh players as well. But once you get past trainee and into bronze ratings, it'll throw you against anyone. Again, playing with friends and experienced people will greatly improve quality of play when you start. Then when you become proficient enough, you can solo-queue and do alright.
