The young Prince Yaromir, a distant cousin of Kyrilu, enjoys growing popularity amongst the common people and some of the boyars. He raises his own private army, composed of many veteran game hunters and frontiersman as well as local militiamen, presumably to take the throne by force. Grand Prince Drazhan raises a royal detachment of the army, consisting of 5,000 rytsar, 500 pekhota and a personal retinue of 200 elite kavaleriya led by Drazhan himself to meet the possible usurper. As a loyal retainer of the Grand Prince, Kazimir also raises a private army to confront Yaromir. Drazhan moves southeast along the coast, while Kazimir follows more westward to cut off a possible flanking attack.

The boats are created, and as soon as they are loaded, and manned, they are sent out into the Western, Northern, and Southern part of the islands. Intent on finding land.

Just beware, Agent.  Boats at this time weren't meant to travel very far from shore.

Byartalena: The western tribes are duly impressed with the gifts they receive, and clearly wish to collaborate in future.  To the South, however, Byartaleni soldiers are unable to defeat local tribesmen and are forced back with no loot but surprisingly few casualties.  [NPC : 6/10]

The success with the western diplomacy is overshadowed by the rage from the Amani at the loss in the south. The Amani send some of their own men to take charge and fight as a young, but stubborn and occasionally reckless war leader by the name of Astre Anfrei takes charge of a three thousand man band and moves to circle around to flank the souterhn tribesmen.

Meanwhile a two thousand man warband continues to push down in order to cover for the party of three thousand.

Asru finds himself in his late, final years. Having managed to live to a surprisingly long age, the regency of Andri Anrani begins as Asru finds himself incapable and on his death bed. The throne is planned to pass down to Asru's first son, Arsen- though his second and third sons find themselves trying to garner support for themselves- threatening a break in power and a potential civil war.

To make matters worse, the Amani have managed a claim on the throne as well- though the venerable elders of Clan Falsetta deny its legitimacy.

The Tumokit Clan attacks the villages of the Erinamese and some of its allies and slaughters it's inhabitants during the night.  The weapons left behind are studied by Erinamese scholars and are determined to be Đjunese in origin.  Because Đjuxijam is a clan known to be allied with the Belenese camp, Ivek Jryn calls for the summoning of all allied clans at Våldjresk.  Despite Acylic teachings which usually call for avoided contact between some clans, Jryn sees no point in maintaining a loose alliance, when a formidable alliance is needed.

Those clans that accept are asked to train their militaries with us, and to ensure that the peace they promised together is protected by all.

Taxes on trade between Erinaum and its allies are lowered, with the hope that the gesture is mutual.  Erinamese taxes on goods of the Belenese camp increase, but efforts to incentivise incorporating into the Erinamese camp is made known.

Trees fall in Erinamese forests.  Erinaum desires to work with Kašysa to make a good allied navy, and will pay them well for sharing their knowledge, as well as supply quality timber.

Seeing this tragedy, the government attempts to find new scholars to replace the ones lost. A memorial is built at the site of the fire, and some people are contracted to work on a new meeting place.
The memorial is respected by many passers by.

The efforts to replace the scholars has limited success.  Few in the land are able to work at nearly the same capacity, but those few who are found are reported nonetheless.

In the process of the search, they find a researcher who brings this case to a conclusion:
The southwest is expedition is to bring their findings to the capital to be looked at by Alardian scholars.
They say there is a larger civilization of unknown culture or cultures to the far SSE, and that it is moderately advanced.

So are you going forward with it or...?

Plethora, please manage.

The campaign is a roaring success, with the tribes extinguished within a week.

With the success of the campaign that was taken over by Amani warriors, elders and councilmen of the tribes of Byartalena begin to look towards the Amani as potential ambitious rulers- many of the elders thinking this is befitting for restoring the prestige of their people.

The armies are to return with as many spoils as they can in the form of slaves, food, etc, and the Amani begin to give Annkru a ample amount of slaves and southern land in return for some personal shares in mining- boosting the relations towards the two.

A year or two afterwards, a political marriage is arranged between the two clans and a gradual and slow merging of the two begins, beginning to threaten power balance among the tribes.

The clan of Falsetta recognize this issue, but however the late and venerable Asru is dead and in his honor a large statue is erected in the capitol. While the two eldest sons of Asru agree to work together in order to gain leverage to try and fight back against the growing threat of the Amani and Annkru unification, the youngest son grows restless and begins to try and garner support for a claim of the throne for himself wherever he can find it.

In any case, the title of king rightfully passes down to Arsen, though very few believe that his rulership will last with recent events and tensions rising.

The clan of Garou looks at all of this, wipes some sweat from its brow, and continues trying to work on making a dependable navy for raiding and the betterment of their fishing villages.

No. So I'm just gonna...increase crop production

Trees fall in Erinamese forests.  Erinaum desires to work with Kašysa to make a good allied navy, and will pay them well for sharing their knowledge, as well as supply quality timber.
The clans of the Erinamese camp largely accept, although a noteworthy portion, especially those far from the Belanese camp's lands or with weak ties to Erinaum, prefer not to get involved in what they consider to be someone else's struggle, and decline.  The Kašysa agree to the shipbuilding, but require additional payment in some combination of weapons, precious metals, and significant control over the fleet after the Belenese trouble ends.

The Belenese camp sees these developments as a grave threat, and makes diplomatic overtures to a small confederation of very militant clans to the West that have clashed with both the Belenese and Erinamese in the past with notable success and successfully resisted counterattacks.  Shortly thereafter, military training in the Belenese camp reaches a high pitch, and a number of very defensible positions, especially in the hills, are fortified and stocked with provisions.

A Belenese messenger rides into Våldjresk, bearing a letter for the Ivek indicating that if the Erinamese do not immediately cease their attempts to "usurp the rightful existence, power, and authority of the Belenese nation, war cannot be avoided."

Work begins upon formalizing the arrangements into a very real unification offer, rather than  a mere hypothetical idea. Subsidies will be given to those in need of help,

The League understands, and does not press these outer tribes further on the subject.

The Avalonian Council again goes to raise a central army.  Now, with so many local militias tied through their officers to the Council, local clan heads have largely given up leading their own armies, though many still issue orders.  The first group of soldiers to be trained is the Garrison of Nazgar, Avalonia's finest who will receive special training in future and be tasked with defending the Avalonian capitol.

Weisstadt, Avalonia's second largest city, located to Avalonia's far South on the coastline, becomes large enough to be marked on the map.

Following recent political events, the confederation's clans, both minor and major, become embroiled in debate about rule.  The weak ruler fails to imbue confidence in the fragile union.  Some thinkers begin to come up with ideas on how to delegate powers in interest of maintaining the peace.  The first scholar, Dasano of Jyanatra, notable for political brown townysis of the time, suggests that the clans be partitioned into smaller groups, the union be preserved, and consuls be sent to Grenua to create a governing assembly to ensure that civil wars are not as incentivised and union is encouraged.  The contrasting view, by Aguilanni of Grenua, a third cousin to the incumbent monarch, suggests that power of clans be diminished so that there is little competition that could tear the union asunder, install a better successor to the throne, and consolidate powers to the new king.

The first option is popular with many wealthy elite and a portion of the population at large, but disfavor with incumbent clan leaders and the incumbent monarchy.  The second idea finds favor with the royal family and clan leaders, but disfavor amongst many merchants, the general population, and allied tribes.

At the time, the disagreements are lukewarm, and no serious conflicts have arisen.  The nation is deeply involved in the discussion.

All except for one proxy territory agree, seeing the need for increased military might.  The proxy territory begins to err on leaving the trade company to remain neutral.

Scouting reports that the League's enemies are bolstering up and that the clan that leaked the information on its decisions under duress is now exterminated.

Militia leaders, many of whom hired mercenaries to also join the ranks, request that the government compensate them for their acquisitions in one form or another.  Some request money, some want land rights, others, official command positions within the new army, and some, a mixture of any or all of these

Efforts are made to solidify any unions that are made.  Those who remain neutral are paid in whatever method they prefer to remain neutral and are given partial benefits that members of the Bronze Crest Union received.

Zenia, an established ally of Erinaum, is asked to station itself to discourage an attack, and to be ready for one if it comes.

A letter is sent back to Sjjvdjol, the capital of Melania, reading "The Sun and the Moon have always been enemies.  As the people of the daylight build their armies and work to ensure their future, so will we.  We will not tolerate aggression from the sun's children.". The letter goes on to cite the recent razing of towns of Erinaum and its allies, which, although acted out by the clan which glorifies death, it was found that the effort was backed by one of Belania's allies.

Many of the elders, after plentiful amounts of discussion decide to defer to the first option in way of choosing the popular opinion. There are some, however, who are in disagreement with this option, but with the current weak state of the crown the popular vote takes charge and manages to pass the first scholars option, and begin to put it in action.

A particular fat man, Big Gus III, garners some support from his fellows and manages an expedition westward to try and enrich the western tribes culture. Or, for anyone in the know, he's trying to install himself and start a cult of personality where he is worshiped as a god.

Only time will tell how his journey and attempts fare.
