They farmed cotton. Remove them from the picture and america wouldn't be much different
do you really believe that though
9/11 has had a big effect on the country, and it was only 15 years ago. it's pretty naive to think the country would be mostly the same now if cotton production hadn't been as big as it was

They didn't build the country. They farmed cotton. Remove them from the picture and america wouldn't be much different
cotton was an extremely good export for the U.S.
slaves did completely build the country, they did all the grunt work

He's gonna get impeached at least a few months after he gets in office

They know nothing lmfao, at all.

You can't give them all the credit. I'd say they did 40% of the work. The rest was natives, latins, and europeans.

yeah slavelabor for the majority was the economic powerhouse until industry took over during the 19th century. to say slaves didnt build the country to some extent is ignorant and simply wrong

Friendly reminder that the majority of immigrants settled in the Midwest and cities on the East Coast. Cotton was a southern crop, not a Midwestern one.

Also, wtf, cotton was extremely vital to the American economy through a good part of its history.

Two more friendly reminders-

*Annoying Orange is defunding planned parenthood, which is NOT an abortion clinic. It helps underpriveleged families to prepare for having a child in ways they would otherwise not have access to.

*He plans to take funding away from clean & effecient energy plans and use them for things like the keystone pipeline, thus reversing the progress we've made.

The South didn't just enslave black people out of spite. They were integral to maintaining the Southern economy. Most people confuse the Civil War as being primarily about racism when really it was states' rights. So yes, Jitank of all people is technically correct.

Most people confuse the Civil War as being primarily about racism when really it was states' rights.
yeah, states' rights to own black people

and the civil war was about maintaining the union, not racism OR states' rights

Friendly Reminder this is the dude who you are fighting with.

right but the biggest issue that caused the civil war was the mentality towards abolishing slavery
