Transgenders should be held up to the same standards as any other sailor. If you want in, you have to prove you are capable of it. If you need medication to transform yourself while in service, you shouldn't be in service. If you feel uncomfortable by people changing because of your gender dysphoria, you shouldn't be in the service. If your gender dysphoria makes you relatively combat ineffective, or unable to fully perform your duties, then you shouldn't be in the service.
This is the same thing with women in combat roles. The marines were forced to accept women, and so they did, and so they put them to the same standards as the men. And they are struggling... and people want the standards for women to be relaxed so more pass basic combat training.
