Gus grunts, raising his arms overhead and stretching. Gus moves over to go find a nice rock suitable for the head of an adze or axe head. He also keeps his eyes out for suitable spear and handle sticks to collect.
Within around 100 minutes, the ideal supplies are found.

Volgya nodded, smiling, "Yes, and fresh water," he said, dampening the mood almost immediately.
Aǹni chops off the first tusk, and in having discovered the best method for removing them, removes the other.  She hands the better one to Volgya.  "Your kill."

With that task done, she reaches for the heavy box and begins to heft it.

Volgya took the tusk, nodding.  He moves to assist Anni in lifting the box.

Aǹni accommodates him, allowing Volgya to take part of the box.  "Thanks."

"Either ye comin' or ye stayin', Shaman," Aǹni hollers to the seemingly paralyzed man.

"I think he's lost it by now, then," Volgya said.

Gus grunts, heading along and wetting his stone, finding a nice flat surface and beginning to push and grind into it a decent chopping edge. Once that's finished, he chisels it into a shape where he can decently fit it through his handle. He picks this up and collects some dry grasses and pieces of bark. Moving along back to camp as he strikes into the wood to make a small hole, trying to light a small flame from his dry kindling to place it in the hole and blow it through, with the help of occasional chiseling. Once the hole is wide enough, he'd move to fit through the axe head and knock it in with a piece of wood until it's fit tight.

"I think he's lost it by now, then," Volgya said.
Aǹni shrugs it off, beginning to walk with the box.  "He's deadweight now, anyways."

At the end of the process, he has a proper celt axe.  However, this action draws the attention of a lone Ogorai.

Gus looks over, watching the Ogorai approach. He furrows his brows, staring at the creature before he reaches over and retrieves his shield and spear, moving over into a defensive position. He takes the moment to sneer at the creature, audibly growling as he taps the side of his spear against his shield as he aims to coax the creature into charging to spear at where he assumes it extremities are.

The animal takes this taunt and accepts the challenge, charging forward and attempting to focus energies on the presumed center of mass.  The large animal hurdles into the shield to the left when Gus attempts to dodge to the right, but misses, going in-between Gus and the shield.  As a result, the animal rams into Gus's left leg with a stabbing pain in his leg, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground.  As the animal continues through, Gus scrambles to his feet and finds that his spear has been cast out of his hand a few meters to the right and his leg has been mildly gored.  It hurts, but it will heal.  But that is the least of his concerns right now.  The Ogorai is rounding about again.

Gus growls, letting out a pained shout as he feels the animals tusk tear through his leg, staring down at hit with furrowed brows. Baring his teeth, he snarls as he looks back towards the Ogorai, fumbling about as he moves to retrieve his spear. Assuming that, especially now he's unlikely to be able to dodge it, he moves to get ready to ready his spear alongside his shield, hoping to let the Ogorai spear itself as it charges towards him, as he holds his shield to try and keep himself from getting gored again.

The Ogorai charges forward.  As it nears, Gus thrusts with the spear toward the animal's neck and braces for impact.  The animal, now wiser on how to attack, tries to toss its head up toward Gus in attempt to impale him, but is blocked by the shield.  The block, although it causes Gus to go flying once again, does cause the spear to be embedded just short of the shoulder bones and twist in its place.  As the pig races by, Gus hears a snap, just before landing on his shield.

The animal continues through, screaming.

Gus hits the ground with a thud, feeling winded for a moment before he catches his breath, bringing himself over to try and get to his feet to go over and retrieve his axe, moving to turn over towards the Ogorai and pursue it with a limp, huffing and furrowing his brows with a sneer.

"I'm going to eat you alive if I have to." he growls, gently rolling his wrist as he holds celtic axe. He holds his shield up as he advances, and moves to beat down on the Ogorai should he get close enough.

The Ogorai, meanwhile, had tried to escape through a narrow path and tripped over a fallen branch, downing the animal.  Gus, on trying to chase the animal down with a limpy gait, finds a pretty serious trail of blood leading to the animal.

Gus notices the animal begin to get up, struggling.

Aǹni makes her way with Volgya through the forest.  During the journey, they come across a stenchy smell not unlike rotten flesh.

Volgya sniffs the air, and grimaces, "Something died," he remarked.

"I don't think I want to know what or how."

Suddenly, a yobi rind strikes Aǹni in the head.  Disoriented, she falls to the ground, dropping the box from her side.

"stuff!" she exclaims through her teeth, rubbing her head.

Volgya looks up to see around 7 Barbosetts in the trees.  One of them throws a stick at him.

Volgya attempts to catch the stick, and return fire!
