Well to be fair it's not stopping until all of you forget off and stop the drama train. Considering that I'm the only one who will defend myself and that I can't rely on anyone else right now I don't really have much of a choice.

Multiple people have told you that your joke was a failure, it wasn't funny and wasn't obvious.
You can't make a bunch of threats and an ass of yourself then go "It was just a joke, guys!" and expect everyone to lighten up and have a good laugh.

The joke wasn't the obviously unserious threats, it was all you idiots who were going to take it seriously. However, I underestimated the impact and the amount of people within the community who would take it seriously.
