"Yeah," Elena replies to Norum.

She addresses the group.

"We should have enough to go on, if you want to take a look at the rest of the house, go ahead. We're just about done,"

Norum's phone starts ringing. Half-startled, his right hand darts into his front pocket and takes out his phone, checking who is calling, then looks from side to side to see if anyone had turned up in the streets.

Provided it is clear, Norum pokes his head around in the building. "Hey Elena, I need to go. Business related. Can you post someone here for a bit?"

Ryde comes out of the house just as Norum speaks, taking out the earpiece from his ear.

"Oh uh, nevermind. Ryde's just came out. See ya 'round."

"Hey," Norum addresses Ryde, with Norum's phone still in hand, ringing, "Can ya watch the car and that RL-bike over there? If someone tries anything, shoot em."

Norum quickly picks up the phone, walking quickly in the direction of the subway. "Yeah, what's up?.....

"....Yeah... Yeah....  No I haven'theard about that..."

Norum is no longer audible in the distance.

Nevada watches Norum walk off and looks back over at the vehicles.

"Huh, wonder why he had to go."

Daniel carries the case he's carrying outside, to Elena's car.  If it were unlocked, he'd put it inside.  Otherwise, he'd set it down next to the car.

You set the box outside the car.

Elena addresses the group.

"It should take a couple weeks for this all to get back I'll be in contact with you guys. We'll do something fun soon. I was thinking too that when I look for money making opportunities to pay for this work, I'll see what I can do about giving you guys choices for what to do. I don't mean to sound like a boss of this operation we have going on,"

"You're basically the boss, let's be real," replied Daniel.

"So can I go home now?", Ryde comments.

"You're basically the boss, let's be real," replied Daniel.

"I don't see myself as one and I'm not the only one in this,"

"So can I go home now?", Ryde comments.

You get an affirmative response.

"Oh-kay, text me if there's anything on that phone.", Ryde responds. He then starts walking back to the subway to get back home again.

The group disperses and everyone returns home safely. Elena takes with her the object collected from the house. Those of you that went with Norum in his first escapade with Dan find a decent sum of money being forwarded to your accounts. Amanda finds a a couple thousand dollars forwarded from Elena. Everyone who was at the house tonight finds around five hundred dollars the next morning.

You expect contact in the next week.

Ministry of Security breaks up Redbands-Affiliated Strike
    • Gendarmerie forces of the Ministry of Security dispersed a gang of striking Longma-Mazu dock workers. The MoS stated that the "strike was illegal and had reason to believe the strike was agitated by the Redbands." A Longma-Mazu spokesperson told Solus Skyline Media that the workers are treated fair and are well compensated for their work. The MoS threatened to break the strike last week as the protestors posed their demands to Longma-Mazu, again citing the Redbands gang, which poses as a union. The crowd was dispersed with gas and no police were harmed...

Within the week Elena contacts all of you. She says that she has some jobs lined up, and says that the gang can pick which job they want over pizza and alcohol. She lists a time for tonight and a location in Midtown near Pig Iron. She also states that she and Norum will be providing the booze but feel free to bring whatever.

Ryde looks from his TV to the phone, which buzzes with Elena's message. He quickly pauses the show he was watching on Cyflix and reads the message on his phone. Once he reads it to its fullest, he gets up, shoving the phone in his pocket as well. He gets ready to leave, grabbing his signature blue hoodie. Once he has his jacket on, he shoots Elena a text saying, "I'll be there.". Ryde then leaves for the subway, confident he can get there in time.

Norum turns off the dial for water in his shower and runs his hands from his forehead over the op of his head, sweeping the wet hair back out of his face and grabs his towel from the rack on the wall, beginning to dry himself off. As the water turns off, the lull of the TV in the other room becomes more audible, playing news from a small-time local news station...

"We have serious concerns that the actions yesterday may spark a humanitarian crCIA as thousands seek refuge within the region, including Aurum."
"Thank you very much, Javier Chavez, Deputy Director of the Ministry of National Security. We'll be back to you soon after this commercial break. You are watching Typhoon News Network. Remember, if you're feeling dizzy, it's just the spin."

Norum enters the room wearing simply a tank top and boxer shorts as the TV plays a short fanfare plays as a CGI transition fades to TNN letters displayed across the screen before cutting to commercials.

Seeing he received a new message, he picks up his phone and looks at its screen, tapping and scrolling occasionally before reading. What?! I didn't agree to–! Aagh that bitch... He sets down his phone and walks back into his room, where he finishes getting dressed.

He then leaves and goes to his kitchen and opens a cupboard, perusing the store of bottles inside. He picks out two from the cupboard and stuffs them in his bag before stuffing his wallet, phone and keys into his pockets and exiting his apartment, locking the door behind him.

He walks down a single flight of stairs before arriving at the parking lot where a blue electric scooter sits parked outside. He mounts the scooter, texting Elena, "On my way" before tucking the phone back into his pocket and inserts the key into the ignition and turning it clockwise and letting go. Norum looks in either direction and turns out onto the street, heading for the meeting place.
