Daniel arrives at the location given, and is met with a medium sized high rise building, a mile or two from the bay. Parking is located at street level, with a garage in the basement of the structure.

You leave traffic and come in along the road, descending between the buildings. Holographic ads jump out at you. The street is busy, but not nearly as busy as the highway. Street parking is available, and the lobby doors seem to be open.

Salus is safe enough that you do not feel a revulsion to the thought of leaving your bike outside.
Though Salus was safe, Daniel was as paranoid as ever.  He parked as close as possible to the meeting point, but when he removed the briefcase, he walked as though he belonged in the district, but his attire clearly said he did not.  If unhindered, Daniel would enter the building in which he was supposed to meet the contact hastily and ask for him by name at reception.

Ryde acts calm, looking over at Norum for his response.

"No, I don't. What seems to be the problem?" Norum, forgetting to turn the ignition off, turns the key counter-leverage to turn off the ignition, removing the key and removing it, clutching it in his hand and letting said fist rest on his leg.

The officer responds with a question.

"Would you by chance have had anything to drink tonight sir? Or any recreational substances?" He asks.

With his eyes covered, his expression is undiscernable.

Time is of the essence to get to the meeting. You feel compelled to get through  this as quickly as possible.

It's obvious the receptionist was distracted by something. He  do not greet you, and only catches some of your statment.

"You're with Gauntlet Capital, with Mister Villacrés, yes?" the receptionist asks with a Chinatown accent.

"No, sir. Dry." he pauses, "Though you look like you could use one though—they must run you ragged to assign you to the N-7."

Norum opens his wallet and hands him his license.

Norum opens his wallet and hands him his license.

"Hmm. After work,"

The officer takes your liscense and touches it to a wrist tablet. He looks between you and the image on the device. He looks a bit intrigued.

He hands your back your liscense.

"Let's do a drug test real quick," the cop says, producing a mouth swab.

Oh christ. Ryde thinks as the officer speaks to Norum. He shifts in his seat a bit as they keep conversing. Whilst he does that, he looks around at their surroundings, attempting to look as if he's just absentmindedly looking about, when really hes seeing if the enemy gang is watching them.

These cops are getting on my nerves. Norum kicks the kickstand down and obediently stands up at a full height of less than 5'1", hesitantly sticking out his hand, unsure of whether he was to administrate it or if he should prepare to have his personal space violated. Upon having the swab handed to him, he swabs his mouth and hands it back to the policeman.

     Daniel nodded, "Yes, that's me."

"One moment please," the cop says.

He returns to his cruiser and is there for about half a minute. He comes out looking puzzled.

"Dry. Hmm," he says.

The cop lifts a finger to his ear and presses, and talks quietly.

"Dispatch, 615, guy I pulled over is clean. Wonder if it was a bullstuff call..." he says, looking at the ground.

He looks up to Norum.

"Free to go, be safe,"

Oh christ. Ryde thinks as the officer speaks to Norum. He shifts in his seat a bit as they keep conversing. Whilst he does that, he looks around at their surroundings, attempting to look as if he's just absentmindedly looking about, when really hes seeing if the enemy gang is watching them.

Nothing.

     Daniel nodded, "Yes, that's me."

"Right. One moment,"

The receptionist picks up a phone, makes a call short speaking Chinese, and puts the phone down. A minute later, you are being escorted upstairs by a silent woman in a suit. The office doesn't look too busy, not like Gauntlet's office. You are lead to a lavish corner office conference room. The table is made of some exotic wood and adorned with bonsai trees. Also in the room is an expensive-looking and clean hookah.

Sitting at the center of the table alone is a man in a pinstripe suit, he is white with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Mister Villacrés delegate? Welcome, my name is Mister Stone," the man says with an telltale Salus dialect.

The man looks at you intently, before looking around you at the door curiously.

"To my understanding there were going to be three of you, Mister-?"

"Thank you, sir," Norum says, his annoyance finally seeming into his tone.

"C'mon Ryde, let's get going."

Norum puts his helmet back on, fastening the straps around his chin and kicks the kickstand back in place using his heel. Watching the skycar power up and ascend, he inserts the key into the ignition, turning it clockwise. That better not've been you, Elena. . .

Norum takes a quick look at his surroundings as he pulls out to the street, looking each way for traffic. "You know, at this point, I think surface streets would be faster."

He turns out onto the street and heads south down a fairly busy street.

Ryde takes a sigh of relief as the officer leaves for his vehicle. Upon leaving, he straps on his helmet and rides with Norum.

"Wicker, call me Daniel.  We were expecting tails, so we drove separately.  My other two associates are carrying the decoy case, I have the real one here, with me." he replied, and presented the case.

"Still looking, haven't seen anything yet, hold on..." Elena says, her tone still flatter than usual.

You're almost there.

Mr. Stone nods.

"Perhaps we can start then. Miss Liu, would you retrieve the key please? Thank you,"

The lady who escorted you up here nods and leaves the room. Another man steps in to the room and stands vigilantly at the wall, facing the table's long axis.

Ryde starts looking around again, seeing if there are any more surprises.

You spot nothing and arrive at the building.

     Daniel waits.

Mister Stone pulls a decanter closer to him and rights a couple of stylish glasses.

"Cognac," the man says, grinning, "Would you like some?"

Norum and Ryde are escorted to the meeting room by a short Latino attendant. Mr. Stone looks up from the table.

"Welcome gentlemen," he greets confidently.
