Norum fires a single shot at Gasbag, then springs to the side and hops into the driver seat of the car, turning on the ignition.

Once Nevada is in, Norum says, "Prepare to suppress 'em to keep em down while we gain some distance."

Finally he shouts, "GET IN, RYDE!"

Plenty of shots strike the Jersey barrier, a couple strike the car door but noting hits Nevada.

A black riced up car screams passed the T intersection 25 meters east. As it passes in the middle it slams on the breaks but keeps sliding to the right as you face the road. You hear the engine gun again.
