people are rebutting the show's style by saying that it takes hundreds of thousands of man hours to come up with this stuff meanwhile I'm thinking I can draw mr. latex cat man without references even though I'm not good at drawing humanoid figures and I haven't drawn in weeks

in fact I'm gonna try it later tonight and post my results

the only good latex catman is a catman that's actually wearing latex

i've never actually watched Miraculous Ladybug i just know there's this latex catman

Who?

Who?

in the comments section of the trailer and probably somewhere on Twitter

you should see the butthurt from the animation industry

>go bankrupt trying to study animation in california
>only have a standardized, formulaic art style to show for it

imagine my shock

Ah yeah, I saw a lot of people whining on twitter about people not liking the newest stuffty CN show. What gets me is the people who suddenly think the original thundercats was some pinnacle of television.

didn't a calarts intern draw a stuffty face over an original drawing made by the creator of cowboy bebop or something

it was cartoon network itself where it was located, but im not sure if the guy was from calarts

drew this in about thirty minutes or so without a reference plus I was out of practice plus I don't draw people well

l a z y

Whoa, where did you find that official artwork from, Tactical??

after twenty minutes of laughing at the accuracy and five minutes of touch-ups

western animation is a joke

i can draw better than this show with a mouse

Most 12 year olds know how to use the internet so they don't have to watch TV, or they could watch netflix. Also when I was younger there was a channel that exclusively aired older cartoons. Although that may be a Canada only thing

Like "Boomerang" in the U.S.; but even that shows new cartoons these days, and I think it's an app instead now.

Up here it was Telatoon Retro. Showed old Looney Tunes cartoons

seeing the usual 4 finger character for cartoons 5 fingers feels really strange
