Just found out the forum filter turns Annoying Orange into Annoying Orange. Lmao.

So hows the political world doin today?

So hows the political world doin today?
fake headlines. more scare. less control for the people.
in other words, business as usual.

Sad that Jackie Chan is a commie.

Glad that Jackie Chan is a comrade.

anyone who thinks communism is ok just needs to go live in a communist country Or at least talk to people who have lived in one, of course it's easier to just whine and turn ones currant country into a hellhole than to risk having ones favorite opinion potentially proven incorrect.

Quote from: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-russia-politics-sovietunion-idUSKBN1OI20Q
In the survey, 66 percent of Russians said they regretted the Soviet break-up, a level not seen since 2005 when Levada recorded 65 percent and Putin was on his second term in the Kremlin.

The number of nostalgic Russians fell gradually from 2004, reaching a low of 49 percent in 2012, before rising to its current level, the pollster found, on a par with the 1990s after the Soviet collapse.

Karina Pipiya, a sociologist at Levada, said that in the past such feelings were often triggered by loss of international prestige and questions of national identity.

“Now the nostalgia is more determined by economic factors and regret that there used to be more social justice and that the government worked for the people and that it was better in terms of care for citizens and paternalistic expectations,” she said.
(and thats just RUSSIANS lol, a lot of other states have even higher levels of soviet nostalgia now that all their local governments are capitalist oligarchies and their infrastructure is crumbling)

i always like posts like this one because it immediately proves that the posters brain just overdosed on red scare propaganda. if he even spent like 1 hour skimming almost any wikipedia page about world history he would realize that he is massively uninformed but overwhelmingly confident that the usa is the greatest nation on earth

Why were they playing ace combat music at the olympics

Sure thing buddy, enjoy your intellectual power fantasy while you can.

PFP's are besides the point. If you like communism go live there. No one is stopping you and I am sure they want you. If you already live there, hat's off to you for defending your way of life.
Many atrocities were committed in the name of communism.
Many atrocities were committed in the name of capitalism.
Both of the system's modern day manifestations are broken in my opinion.
Both of the systems require effort from people.
In my opinion, Communism requires more from people to work successfully.
It wants us to all work together, but sadly, we all have selfishness and it will never work.
Capitalism celebrates selfishness and openly rewards it if you are in the right place at the right time.
Any system will be subject to corruption, thievery, and the lies that come from them. Every system will slowly evolve into a secret oligarchy where everyone is subject to the few. There is only so much that can be done to stop it.
At this point, I will say I have given up. Pick your flavor, it is all the same to me. I too, have a flavor preference. Let us not argue over flavors unless it actually changes the ingredients.

have you ever actually looked into immigration? not only is moving across an entire ocean expensive, but for the most part every country has the same immigration requirements: family or a job. getting a job in another country is never easy, and of course family is entirely up to chance
also that's just a stupid thing to say, in general. if wanting to improve your material conditions was inherently wrong and your only choice was to move somewhere with the conditions you want, then the entire world would still be in the dark ages

Dont let a sarcastic remark dwindle what I said. It was stupid, yes. That specific remark was sarcastic. I know, I shouldnt be sarcastic online, because it is impossible to tell. I hope that clarifies things. I apologize for the confusion.
