Isn’t abortion left up to the states though? There’s still going to be tons of states that allow it. If yours doesn’t, just travel over state lines.

i think theres some laws specifically prohibiting that in some states. at the very least traveling that far is inconvenient, expensive for the average person, and usually noticeable by the local populace so you can get ostracized or reported.

I feel like not enough people are not mentioning that ectopic pregnancies (botched pregnancies that will kill the mother) are also now illegal to terminate in several states.

Also y'all should have as much gay love now before it's illegal again

there are states literally passing laws for bounty programs so that you can get money to snitch on people that do this

If yours doesn’t, just travel over state lines.
america moment, states decide, and the ones that are deciding no abortion are deciding to make this very illegal

While I recognize most won't see this as a political news situation, there is a greater context that needs to be spoken of here.

This is a chat system designed to track, report and ban wrong thinking users to instill fear in the user base to stop them from
speaking freely. And while alone, this could just be seen as an overbearing action of a cautious corporation trying to avoid angry parents,
this is where I believe things get much, much worse.

Minecraft Java recently had their users move over from Mojang Accounts to Xbox Live accounts. I believe this is because they're going to
introduce a full platform ban system. Where if you're banned for """""""""""hatespeech"""""""""""""" on Minecraft because you said a nono word
in your single player world, you're banned across all Xbox Live games, and it will likely get worse from there.

This might sound ridiculous if you don't have the full context, so allow me to put it in perspective. A few years back Patreon implemented a
rule in their TOS to allow for them to ban users who had violated their rules on other platforms. This was adopted by many other web services
over the years. Youtube, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Amazon have all implemented similar rules into their TOS.

I believe following the act of full platform bans, we will see cross-platform bans. If you're banned on Twitter, you're banned across the Corpoverse.

You will not be safe anywhere. No matter what you think, what opinions you hold. If you're against the machine in any way, or perceived as such.
Your life will be over.

The QuantumTV Controversy should be full proof of this. The corporations do not hold political opinions. They don't care. They just try to stay with the most "popular" political opinion
of their time without it effecting their bottom line. QuantumTV is an unhinged truly far-right extremist being kept on the platform because of a fear of violating leftist doctrines and getting
in trouble with their advertisers.

They have unattainable standards, and these standards are unknown.

TL;DR Megacorps are slowly pushing towards a dystopian future where they control the public discourse literally anywhere.

gamers are, truly, the most oppressed people

Now my friends HAVE to use proximity voice on my server

This is amazing.

how ironic.
this is always the best stuff. when the veil falls and these gumdrop fairy peoples true nature is revealed.

Oh she's not ReAlly a tribal though obviously you can tell from the way she said it  :cookieMonster:

I'm like a cartoonishly evil bigot and I refuse to believe there is a single person made of flesh and blood that cared enough about this stuff to actually get it overturned. This has to be some kind of manufactured moral panic thing
Well said. Out of all the things that could be talked about currently in the USA like gun laws, inflation, Russian-Ukrainian conflict, increasingly dogstuff wages for jobs, being one of the only countries where college costs money, etc, this is what comes up on the chopping block?

In a perfect world where I had all the money I could think of, I'd turn tail to live in Japan or Norway or something like that right about now. Not even just because of this ruling, all of the other things and more are just becoming ever more frustrating to deal with and it's kind of disturbing how much bullstuff happens in this country that doesn't happen in every other 1st world country.
