In what way has gaming been "ruined?" I know this conversation started about loot boxes but clearly that's not the heart of the issue here.

games releasing unfinished, games that require gigabyte sized updates on consoles just to start playing, games being removed from marketplaces that you paid for and cant play anymore, physical games practically don't exist outside of nintendo, games abundantly related to real life politics, some games that have multimillion backings are just genuinely bad, popular indie games are starting to follow the same exact formula every time etc...

for a normie its probably fine. for someone that actually enjoys games its the worst time ever

also stuff like this has the ability to exist

everything else in the list is obviously true but has nothing to do with woke feminists or whatever and everything to do with the macroeconomic environment

for someone that actually enjoys games its the worst time ever
if you like indie games i feel like we're in the best time ever, there's a firehose of creative interesting games coming out on steam, you just need to be tapped in to get visibility on the good stuff

Bill Clinton redemption* arc?
I have called for the full release of the Epstein files. I have provided a sworn statement of what I know. And just this week, I’ve agreed to appear in person before the committee. But it’s still not enough for Republicans on the House Oversight Committee.
Now, Chairman Comer says he wants cameras, but only behind closed doors. Who benefits from this arrangement? It’s not Epstein’s victims, who deserve justice. Not the public, who deserve the truth. It serves only partisan interests. This is not fact-finding, it’s pure politics.
I will not sit idly as they use me as a prop in a closed-door kangaroo court by a Republican Party running scared. If they want answers, let’s stop the games & do this the right way: in a public hearing, where the American people can see for themselves what this is really about.
