good to know iban has not changed whatsoever over the past decade

iban when a child enthusiast is no longer in charge of the country:

sad state of affairs so many fall for the red v blue paradigm and how toxic politics have become. this is how you destroy a nation, divide and conquer - meanwhile the rich just keep getting richer while normal people struggle to pay the bills and feed their families as the gap between rich and poor gets wider, fizzling out the middle class.

lol

wonder if he realizes doing either (or both) of those things effects literally nobody but him lol

Conservatives when they win: Thank god I can finally stop pretending I don't want to murder everybody, cry more libtards, Annoying Orange pounds me in the ass, I loving hate black people
Conservatives when they lose: Actually we are all one party..... the HUMAN party.......

It's just wild how some people can be so loving smart and so loving stupid at the same time. It's literally the "Common sense" republicans talk about.
wtf lol
It's true man, you gotta watch some debates or something if you think he's being hyperbolic. You're doing the thing tons of people do and we all see it in our right leaning family members and friends.

You are like half way there but you gotta figure out who's the one drilling a hole in the boat floor and who's bailing the water. Right now you're saying both these people are the same and we shouldn't argue who is doing the right thing.

Until we have ranked choice voting it's not a trap we are falling into, it is the reality of American politics.

I understand where you are coming from, I like how AOC worded it recently, elections are not a car that takes you exactly where you want to be, they're more like a bus - yes it's not exactly where you wanted but it's headed in the right direction.

lol

this makes me really sad. He always does because I used to be friends with him. He needed and still needs help it is a shame he may never seek it.

Who loving spilled the beans on our plan to lynch Iban for anti-revolutionary thinking?

Hasan Piker.

Respectfully, that is not true. I never said both parties were the same, I just said that is how they divide people amongst one another. You say I'm "half way there" but you refuse to see the bigger picture - most people want the same things - affordable housing, healthcare, stable job, etc. Not the stupid things they make people fight over. We should focus on what is actually important for us as a people.

Obviously I can only speak to my own social media bubble, but it seems to me like most Democrat voters are fed up with the feckless centrist leadership of the party, who by and large cater to the same donors that Republicans do:
Quote
House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries is viewed positively by 18% of voters and negatively by 35%. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who’s led Democrats in the body for almost a decade, is far better defined — to his detriment. Just 13% of voters view him positively, and 53% view him negatively.

There are many ways in which "they" try to divide us. Race/ethnicity has historically been a big one. There's also gender, religion, class, and most recently they've gotten super granular with generations, further dividing what used to be a simple "young vs. old" dichotomy into boomers vs. gen z vs. millennials vs. gen alpha ect.

I used to see the red vs. blue thing as similarly manufactured. I see where you're coming from. The thing is that republicans and democrats are not equal in the same way that men and women are. You say "most people want the same things - affordable housing, healthcare, stable job, etc." The conservatives in power have spent the last decade demonstrating that they have no interest in providing any of those things for anyone. The party has been totally overrun by Maga freaks and any decent or intelligent people it had left have since abandoned it.

The state of being a republican is the state of having been fooled. It is not so much a legitimate political position as it is victimhood of a very expensive, very well thought out scam. Meanwhile the democrats host the usual limp-richard, right leaning centrists along side serious democratic socialists. We have a snowball's chance in hell that the socialist influence takes over the party and then we might see some of those changes you mentioned. Conservatives have spent the last decade jerking us around to manipulate the stock market and have shown no indication of ever doing anything different.

When a democrat takes power away from a conservative, there's a 50/50 shot we have a decent person in office. When a conservative gets in, those odds drop to 0.

The only way to save the republican party from itself at this point is to have it dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up

Good luck of that ever happening though
